Ten years after the Fourth Great Ninja War.

The nations were peaceful. No more major conflicts happened. Instead of Shinobi dying daily there were rare deaths from dangerous missions. The only threats to the peace were bandits, and missing nin, but that was nothing compared to the past.

The ninja who were mind controlled were liberated shortly after the war. With Orochimaru dead the seals weren't as effective as they once were, and they were easy to disable. The liberated shinobi returned to their respective villages happy to be released.

The major nations branched out to all the other smaller nations one by one and caused a worldwide time of peace. All the nations were disarming. There were summits every six months to keep relations, and the academy was slowed down. Now kids graduate when they are eighteen. There is no reason to make child soldiers any longer.

Itachi and Izumi got married four years after the war. It took a long time for them to recognize their feelings, and they both had a lot of trauma to deal with. Izumi struggled with her identity for a few years, but that was reasonable after what she went through, and Itachi had to adjust to a life where he didn't need to fight every day. They have two kids. Saori is six years old, and Mikoto is two.

Kakashi and Konan got married two years after the war. It didn't take them long to recognize their feeling for each other. They had plenty of time during the war to develop them after all. They have three kids. Obito is six, and their twins Nagato and Yahiko are two.

Yugito moved to the Leaf right after the war. Shisui and her started dating not long after, but they would get married three years later because Shisui essentially forgot to ask the question. They were known as the fun aunt and uncle between the kids. They had one kid. His name was Daichi, and he was six.

Gaara married a beautiful girl named Nomasaki. They had two kids. Shinki, their adoptive son, was eight and Aki was six. Hana married Genma and had two kids as well. Their names were Kiba and Ayaka.

Kurenai and Asuma's daughter Mirai became the babysitter for the group. She had to deal with all of the children, but they saw her as an older sister figure.

Sasuke and Tsuyuri got married a year ago after Sasuke became one of the Hokage's guards. They plan to have a few kids. Sai married Ino and they also plan to have one or two kids. Shikamaru married Temari and took his father's spot when the man retired. Choji is in a relationship with Karui of the lightning, and he stepped up as a clan head after his father died. Neji and Tenten became a couple, but they are still in the awkward faze. Haku and Karin were much closer than they were with anyone else, but they refused to admit it.

The destroyed Rain village was renovated and made a memorial in honor of all the lost ones during the war. The memorial was seven large walls in the shape of a heptagon. Each wall was for each village. The names of the lost were inscribed on the walls for each village. The two extra walls were for the Samurai of the Land of Iron, the citizens of the Hidden Grass, and the citizens of the Hidden Rain. The most notable names on the wall were: Killer B, A, Onoki, Tenzo, Gai, Choza, Baki, Ebisu, Aoba, Ao, Kitsuchi, Kankuro, Sakura, Shino, Kiba, Saori, and Obito whose name Kakashi put on there.

Behind the walls were the graves for the shinobi lost in the war. The total number of casualties throughout the war was 45,532 out of the 83,593 shinobi in the Allied Shinobi forces. Their bodies stayed in their home villages. The graves were just to honor them.

At the entrance of the memorial walls stood two large statues. One statue was Madara in his ten tail's form with his Rinnegon flaring and staff in hand. Ten truth seeking orbs floated behind him. They were held up using anti-gravity seals. The other statue was of Naruto in his Sage of six paths mode Rinnegon activated and staff in hand. He had nine truth seeking orbs behind him. The statues both had emotionless faces, and they faced each other like they were still locked in combat.
