This is a fan-appreciation work. This is purely for fun and my way of showing my love for this franchise – some people draw, write music, paint, I write fiction.

Author's Note:

I am following the BBC TV series of Merlin. I am adding in my own twists and whatnot. On occasions, some chapters of this book will have more mature themes such as violence. The book is intended for audiences of older teens and above.

I won't be putting trigger warnings above chapters as this is the warning. Mature themes and ideas are ahead – whether they are described or implied. Please be aware I touch upon sensitive themes such as the idea of abuse, death, torture, etc. While they are not the forefront of the book, they are there in varying degrees at points; they are not there all the time but they will come up.

Warning! This book has long chapters. To cut down on the number of ads you have to view, I am just putting the whole episode in one chapter. This means long chapters, as in 10,000 words+. I am putting in breaks. Where a '&' appears you could stop and take a breather. The & is where scene changes/a new chapter would have most likely begun had Wattpad not brought in ads.

I love, love, love MERLIN (TV show). If you have not seen it you should. You can find it on Disney+. If you've already seen it before, why don't you go have another watch? Acting is great, characters are fabulous, and there is nothing better than Arthur and Merlin's bromance!

This is a rewrite of my discontinued/hiatus-ed series Merlyn. I do love my Merlyn series however I felt like I was beginning to derail and lost drive for it. So I am revamping the series. The old version will still be available but this is the one that will be being updated. It follows a similar storyline to that of my Merlyn series, so there will be similarities but also differences – this is after all a reboot, a second draft so to speak.

The book's front cover and name intentionally are meant to resemble books of the past, that's why the cover is not inventive. Also, there is the fact that I am a writer not an artist, no matter how much I'd like to be, and this is the best I can do.

Cast:

Bradley James is Arthur Pendragon

Cast remains the same as in the wonderful TV series 2008-2012.

The main character, along with other original characters, of this book have no face claims so you may choose your own casting or just let your imagination take hold.
