It's been more than two weeks since Gundham and I claimed the title friends with benefits, and things have started to change. Most of his shy demeanour has faded into that of a protective, and I mean REAL protective figure, I find it adorable. I remember one day we were merely walking to the shop together and he scowled at a guy who looked at me. LOOKED at me.

There have been many times where he's done that, like for example when he took me out on a date one night to the Hanamura diner, our waiter so happened to be a male. He wouldn't stop glaring at him all night long. He kept holding my thigh under the table every time he approached our table, and god forbid the things he did when the waiter talked to me.

That night I got marked so bad my neck was more purple than pale.

He's been so utterly sweet though. Like I remember when we went to the huge shopping centre together one day I glanced at a really nice limited edition jacket they had that caught my fancy, Gundham saw me staring at it for a moment too long so he goes in and buys it for me straight up. The look on my face when he bought it out was priceless.

I lay in bed, staring at the ceiling and just thinking about how lucky I am to have him when my phone rings beside me. I pick it up, seeing "Hell Hound❤️" displayed on my screen, making me smile as I answer.

"Hellooo?"

"Hello my queen."

"What's up?"

I roll over out of bed and sit up to find a more comfortable position.

"I missed your voice my love...I am sorry we have not seen each other in a couple of days, work has been busy."

"No it's ok, don't worry about it!"

I hear him shuffle around in the background.

"So how have you been? Are you well?"

"Yeah! How about you?"

"I have been fine. I'm thinking of you every day my love...my heart yearns for you."

I smile and giggle, blushing. I love this man so much, he makes me feel so special. He's so much better than any of the boyfriends I've ever had, even though we're not even dating yet. That clearly didn't stop him from treating me nicer than anyone else I've ever dated.

"My love?"

"Oh sorry...I zoned out...oopsie! Ooh hey, do you wanna hang out later?"

Silence.

"I-I'm awfully sorry, I have work."

I pick up a little bit of uncertainty in his voice.

"That's ok! I'm gonna go make some food now, goodbyeee Hell Hound!"

"Have a nice day my dark queen."

After that, I hang up the phone and get ready for the day. Removing my pyjamas, I chuck on a bra, some classic black jeans and a comfy, black shirt. I leave my bedroom into the kitchen to go fix myself something for breakfast. Hmmm...who is someone I haven't seen in a while? Ooh...let's see if Sonia is free!

I should have her number in here somewhere. I check my phone and scroll through my contacts seeing her name and calling the number. I let it ring a couple times before I hear her clear voice through the speaker.

"Yaeko!! Hello, what is it you need?"

"Hi Sonia! I was just wondering whether you're free to hang out later? We could go to the shopping centre or something!"
