Y/n's POV

"Will!" I shout and jog to catch up to my friend. "Hey. Annabeth was stabbed. She's really hurt, and you're the best healer I know. Can you help?"

"Lead the way," Will answered and followed Percy and I.

"How are we going to get to the Plaza Hotel in time?" Percy asked. I looked around, hoping to find a car or something we could use, but I realized that all of the roads were practically blocked. And then I saw something better. Against the curb ahead of us were two Yamaha FZI motorcycles. They were perfect.

"Here," I offer and hand Will a helmet. "Put this on. Percy, Will and I will take this bike. You take that one."

"How in the - can you drive one of these?" Percy questioned.

"What have been I telling you since we met, Percy? I'm full of surprises," I say and climb onto the first bike. "I've only driven one once, but from what I remember, it's just like riding a pegasus. Promise."

Will got himself situated behind me, and once Percy was settled, we sped off towards the Plaza Hotel. It only took us a minute or two to get there, but only because we were driving at speeds that would have given adults a heart attack. We parked our bikes in front of the hotel and rushed inside to see that demigods had taken over the top few floors of the building. Campers and Hunters were crashed out on sofas, washing up in the bathrooms, ripping silk draperies to bandage their wounds and helping themselves to snacks and sodas from the mini-bars.

"Jake!" Percy called out and ran over to the Hephaestus counsellor. "Where's Annabeth?"

"The terrace," Jake replied.

Percy pushed past him and ran straight to where Annabeth was waiting. The view from the terrace would have been beautiful, but I couldn't focus on that. I needed to see if Annabeth was okay. She was laying on a lounge chair, and her face was pale and beaded with sweat. Silena was wiping her face with a cool cloth to help with the heat, but she was still shivering under her blanket. Will made his way through the crowd of Athena kids and unwrapped Annabeth's bandages, revealing a deep cash. To make matters worse, the skin around the cut had turned green.

"Poison on the dagger," Annabeth mumbled. "Pretty stupid of me, huh?"

"It's not so bad, Annabeth," Will decided. "A few more minutes and we would've been in trouble, but the venom hasn't gotten past the shoulder yet. Just lie still. Somebody hand me some nectar."

Will cleaned out the wound with the godly drink, and when he was done, he put some silver paste over the wound and hummed some words in Ancient Greek. A hymn to Apollo. Then he applied fresh bandages and stood up shakily. I could tell the healing had taken a lot out of him because he was just as pale as Annabeth.

"Thanks, Will. You did a great job," I praise. "Now take a seat. Get some rest."

"That should do it," Will declared and jotted some things down in a notepad. "But we're going to need some mortal supplies. There's a pharmacy on Fifth. Normally, I would never steal, but this is an emergency. I've got a feeling we're going to have a lot more people to treat."

"Speaking of, I should go scouting," I put forth and ditch my chest plate and helmet on the terrace. "I might be able to find some supplies. And there could be some injured demigods out there. I can help. Plus, I can look out for more monsters and do some mapping."

"Someone should go with you," Percy insisted.

"Percy, I'll be fine," I assure him. "Stay here with Annabeth and keep an eye on her. I'll be back shortly."

"Be safe," Percy lectured.

With only my bow and quiver and my trident necklace on me, I left the Plaza hotel to go scouting. I grabbed the Yamaha FZI I had driven earlier and hopped on it, gunning the engine to make it speed down the road. It wasn't long before I got to the Williamsburg bridge, where we had just had our standoff with Kronos' army. I parked the motorcycle on the street and then went to have a look around.
