Act VII: Alduin's Wrath

Amongst the wastes and death of war
Stooped in pain Alduin the Black
His heart was empty now and dark
And all knew he would not turn back

He blamed the mortals and their swords
He cursed the names of Kyne and man
He accused all spare but himself
For no one prideful ever can

He did not heed her last remark
So filled with burning rage and pain
He swore that Man and Mer alike
Without pity would all be slain

To that most sacred mountain where
Mankind was born and found their Voice
Where battle raged twixt man and wyrm
The soulless dragon made his choice

Upon the hallowed peak of Kyne
He'd end this battle once for all
Alduin's fire had dried his eyes
The Nordic heroes all would fall

But Dragonrend, the baleful shout
Was spoke into Monahven's sky
And like a stone to earth he fell
Being as one who could not fly
