Aftermath

Marco ran. He was gasping for air as he wiped his face of sweat and smoke. He was bleeding a lot. From the explosion and Star's assault. He wept as he kept stumbling away from the Monster Temple. He finally passed out.

...

"Eclipsa, my love... please wake up..." Globgor said worriedly as Eclipsa woke up.

"G-Globgor... w-where is Marco... where is Star...?"

"Star is looking for Marco. Just get some rest"

"T-The temple..."

"It's okay. It's being fixed up..."

"W-What have I done..." Eclipsa cried.

"W-What? What did you do...?"

"I-I hurt Marco... he's missing... his home is destroyed..." she said faintly.

"Oh... oh no..." Globgor muttered.

...

"MARCO!? MARCO PLEASE JUST COME OUT!" Star shouted as she searched for her hurt best friend.

It was getting dark. Star knew she wouldn't be able to find him in the dark. She began flying home.

Suddenly, Tom appeared in front of her from a fire pillar.

"S-Star? What's happening!? M-Marco confessed and there was this explosion and-"

"I know, Tom..."

"I'm so glad you're safe..." he whispered as he hugged her.

"Marco..." Star whispered as she cried on his shoulder.

"Marco... what?"

"Marco... I hurt him... he's gone..." she sobbed.

"Shhh.. It's okay... he'll show up..."

Sir... there's a boy here. He looks dead...

Check his pulse.

He's... alive.

It's... that boy... Marco...

What should we do, sir?

Patch him up, general. He might be useful.

He... also has the... the magic royal wand!!!

Eclipsa woke up again finally and looked around. She was experiencing major fatigue. The kitchen was still demolished. Marco and the wand were gone. She could hear Star having a mental breakdown. This wasn't good. Not good at all.

She struggled to get up but managed to get on her legs. She went to Star's room and saw a gang of teenagers whom she couldn't recognise. She ignored it and went down to Marco's room, hoping he was there so she could apologise. Of course, he wasn't there.

She waddled over to her sleeping husband and shook him. He woke up and hugged her.

"Meteora is alright, dear" he said as he laid her down on the bed.

"You need more rest. You're still experiencing some fatigue and nausea"

Eclipsa tried to speak but nothing but mutters came out.

GAAAAAASPPPP!!!

Marco jolted upwards. Was it all a dream? He looked around, his head still spinning, he still felt like he was dead and he was still gasping for air.
