Monkey king was known for his mischievous actions. For the havoc he had wreaked in the celestial realm those many years ago. Those lives he ended without even giving it a second thought. So why was he still alive, standing in front of Wukong, shards of the emerald that had been his prison only moments ago splayed on the ground. And why was he looking at him so, guiltily? Sun Wukong coughed in his hand before speaking.
"So, uhm." He looked at Dushe, seeing him covered in blood wasn't a good sight. His ribs were still broken so that was fun. Had it already been five thousand years? He groaned as a sharp pain coursed through his body. If his ribs weren't splintered then he would have been fighting Wukong like the idiot he is. Luckily, his idiotic thoughts were contained and controlled by his broken and frail body.
Lightning crackled outside. That was odd, he didn't do that. Wukong coughed again, noticing that Dushe wasn't paying attention.
"I may have accidentally broke your prison..." He looked up at the dragon meekly. "So-Don't go anywhere!" Dushe took a step back, only to be stopped by a ludicrous amount of artifacts.
"Where am I?" He wheezed out. Wukong put up his hands, proving that he wasn't going to hurt him.
"Could you kindly wait here as I try and imprison you again?" Wukong asked, fluttering his eyelashes. His eyes were gold, weren't they red earlier?
"Answer my question, Wukong. Where am I?" He hissed. Although it was more of a raspy breath than a hiss. Wukong seemed annoyed that he was talking.
"Listen bud, I'm gonna need you to calm down and relax." He then smiled. "I'm not gonna hurt you." Dushe felt uneasy and scared. Of course Wukong was going to hurt him. How long has it even been? A few weeks? A few days? He had to get out, but how? Wukong would just follow and recapture him! Maybe if he escaped into a body of water... He had to know how long it had been since he was imprisoned. It couldn't have been that long! Sun Wukong was just clumsy. Once he escapes he can be with his friends again! Although he was have to stay low, lower than low. He would have to put on a glamour.
"Say, W-Wukong. How long have I been in that prison?" It was painful, trying to talk. But soon he'll be resting in water, healing all of his injuries. Thunder roared, that was odd. He didn't summon a storm.
"Ao Jinhai, please, could you put away your little storms?"
Annoyance dripped from each word of the great sages sentence. All he could do was look at him, confused.
"That's not mine?" Lightning struck down, a crackling and sizzling mess as he looked out of the cave/waterfall he was in. "And it's not natural." He could hear the disarray of unattractive things, like waves lapping at the-wait...WAVES! He was on top of a mountain, he shouldn't be able to hear waves. Especially from this far away. Snow was starting to fall. HOW?
"What do you mean it's not natural!" Wukong yelled as he ran out of the waterfall cave. Dushe joined him, lashing his tail.
"Can't you hear the waves? Don't you see the snow? The lightning?" Wukong froze, just as he noticed where the storm was coming from.
"Mk..." Wukong summoned his nimbus and hopped onto it. "Stay here." And with that, he flew away. He waited for Wukong to be out of sight before he dived into the ocean. He could sleep for a hundred years. He couldn't wait to see Slithering again. That was some bad weather...Maybe using his first name would make it harder for people to recognize him. When he heals, he's going to glamour himself until nobody recognizes him.
