Chapter 10

Tc's POV

The movie ended and everyone was lying down. Some had fallen asleep, and some of us were still awake. Bridget's head rested on my chest. I smiled as I stroked her hair moving it out of her face, but as I came across her forehead it felt abnormally warm. She rapidly batted her eyes trying to wake up. "Bridget, you okay?" I asked her because she didn't look well. She quickly stood up and ran off.

"Where did Bridget go?" Ellie asked waking up, and rubbing the sleep from her eyes.

"She ran off." I answered confused.

"Did you see where she went?" Drew asked.

"Um, guys, I think she might be sick." Jayk said with his head turned around.

We all turned around, and soon after he said that we saw her head buried in a trash can. "Wasn't she just feeling fine a few minutes ago?" Blake asked.

"Well, during the movie she told me her stomach was starting to hurt, but I didn't think she was getting a bug." I answered him.

"Is it food poisoning?" Ashley asked.

"No, it can't be, or we would all be sick." Andrea added.

She walked back to us. "Can we go home now?" She asked us.

"Yea," I said reaching for a hug so that hopefully it would make her feel somewhat better. But she pulled away and began walking towards the car.

"Brianna, are you going anywhere tonight?" Jayk asked her.

"I have to work in the morning so I should probably get home." Brianna replied.

"Can I get your number then?" Jayk asked pulling out his phone and handing it to her.

She typed her number in and handed the phone back to him. "Call me." She said with a grin.

"Ooh la la. Jayk's got him a new lady friend." Devin laughed.

"Well, I guess I'm gonna head home with her," I said motioning her way. "Make sure she's okay."

"Yea, we won't be too far behind you guys." Blake said holding Andrea's hand.

I walked toward the car just as I heard Bri tossing her cookies behind it. "Babe," I ran to check on her. "Are you okay?" I asked.

She nodded her head as she kept her eyes closed. She walked off and got in the car. I turned to see the guys looking at me, I shrugged my shoulders.

Ellie and Andrea walked to the side of the car to talk to Bri, in hopes that they could put a smile on her face or something. Ellie walked around the side followed by Andrea. I decided to go ahead and get in the car to take her home.

As we drove to her house she was cuddled up with the blanket we had for the movie. I glanced at her and noticed she looked as pale as a ghost. We finally got to her house and I hated to get her out of the car. I got out and walked to the passenger side. "Babe," I said sweeping the hair out of her face. "We're home, well, were at your house."

She blinked her eyes rapidly. "Kay." She said trying to get out of the car, but she was too weak. I lifted her out and carried her with my left arm around her back, and my right arm around her legs. I let her down as we got to the door and I reached under the door mat and grabbed the extra key. I unlocked the door and we walked inside. "Go to your room and I'll get you some Gatorade or something."

"Okay, dad." She said laughing a little.

I smiled and went to get the Gatorade. I walked into her room and sat on the bed beside her. "Are you feeling at least somewhat better?" I said as I rubbed her back.
