Chapter 7

Ellie's POV

I lay in bed next to Drew. He had fallen asleep so I pulled out my phone and snapped a quick picture of him. The sound of my phone's camera woke him up. "Hey sleepy head."

His smile widened. "Hey babe, how long was I out?"

"Not long" I smiled. "I just now noticed you were asleep"

"Did you take a picture?" He laughed as he held his hand out to grab my phone.

"Nope! You can't see it!" I laughed holding my phone away from him.

He leaned up out of the bed and grabbed my face and kissed me. "Give me the phone Ell." He said calmly staring into my eyes with the evil grin he likes to use on me to make me give in.

"Ugh! Fine!" I said slightly pushing his shoulder.

"Damn, I look good even when I'm asleep." He grinned.

I laughed. "No shit Sherlock. Now can I have my phone back?"

"Yes ma'am." He said handing me back my phone in shame.

*ding ding* I picked up my phone to see who had texted. "BRI!!!!" I shouted in Drew's ear by accident, "sorry babe, but Bri just texted me!"

"Bridget?" He asked confused. "Is she okay?" He asked.

"Yea! But I wonder what's going on?"

"Why? What did she say?" Drew asked as he looked at the text message from Bri with me. It read: Ellie, I need to talk to you, meet me at Starbucks please!

"Well, I guess I'm gonna head to Starbucks." I stood up and grabbed my purse and keys. "See you later babe!" I kissed drew and headed out the bedroom door. I saw Jayk sitting on the couch in the living room. "Yo! Where have you been? Is Bridget okay?"

"Ellie!" he said pausing the TV. "she's okay..." He said calmly.

I could tell by the way he answered me, he wasn't okay. "Are you?" I asked him.

"Yea..." He said looking back at the TV.

"Okay, well I'm meeting her at Starbucks to talk to her."

"Kay."

Jayk is speechless for once in his life? I've got to find out what is going on. I texted Andrea and asked where she was at... Andrea! Did Bridget text you? She texted me back 5 minutes later... Yea, we're at Starbucks waiting for you. I texted her back... Okay!

Bridget's POV

I sat at the table in Starbucks with Andrea as we waited for Ellie. It was awkward and silent as I stared at my phone waiting for a text from Tc. Please answer me Tc... I thought to myself. A few minutes went by and I saw Ellie run through the door. "Bridget!" I stood up and hugged her as im sure that's why she ran to me. "Where have you been? What is going on? Why was Tc's party the last we've seen you? Sit your ass down and talk, Bri." Ellie said with a stern but worried look in her eye.

She sat down and I started to talk. "Okay, the night of Tc's party we almost had a moment." My heart began to race. "Then Drew interrupted it..." I looked at Ellie with a grin.

"I KNEW IT!" She shouted. "I told him that you two were about to kiss! Ugh. He's such an idiot, but what can I say? I'm in love..." Her eyes wondered off.

"Ellie..." I said trying to bring her back to here and now.

"What? Oh sorry, continue." She giggled.

"Okay, well, after that, it got kind of awkward." My eyes gazed over to my phone waiting on a text or call from Tc, but nothing. "Michelle walked in and Tc went to show her around the house I'm guessing. Then Jayk and I were talking and out of absolutely nowhere, he kissed me, and I turn around to see..." I got choked up before I could say the last part because I remembered how much it hurt. I started to feel my heart break again as I held my tears back. "Tc kissing Michelle." I picked up my phone and held it tightly.

"Well, that's, something else." Andrea said slowly.

"So that's why he didn't go after you, I'm gonna hurt him." Ellie commented.

"NO! Don't." I said holding my hands up to her. "But then I went to my hideout and Jayk came over." I gulped. I began telling the both of them what had happened with me calling Tc, and what Jayk had said. I stopped and waited for what they had to say, but they had a dead stare. "What are you guys looking at?" I turned around to see Tc standing behind me. I stood up out of my chair. "Teec! Why the hell haven't you answered your phone?"

"Because you wanted to talk to me, so I'm going to do it in person, unless you want to go get drunk and talk to me on the phone like before." He said angrily.

I turned around to face the girls. "I'm going to leave with Tc you guys, I gotta talk to him."

"Okay, Bri. See you later." They both said.

Tc and I walked outside of the café and began walking on the sidewalk. "Well?" He questioned me.

"What happened last night?" I asked him with my heart beating 90 miles a minute.

"What do you mean?" He asked. "Oh yea, I forgot that you were too drunk to hear what I even had to say." He said grinding his teeth and clenching his fists.

"Yea! Sorry I got upset at the fact that I saw this guy I care A LOT about lip locking with his ex! Am I even supposed to be sorry for that?" He was quiet. "I didn't think so." I said folding my arms as we kept walking.

"I only kissed her because I saw you lip locking with Jayk!" He said sternly. "Yea, you didn't think I saw that did you?" He said shaking his head.

"Teec! Jayk's the one who kissed me! Not the other way around. I was just trying to talk to him and make conversation! How could you honestly think I would do that when-" I stopped myself from saying the "L" word.

"When what?!" He said putting his hand on my shoulder to stop me from walking.

"Why the hell does it even matter?! Why does it matter when you obviously don't feel the way I do for you Tc!" I stopped to try and calm myself down. "Just let me move on." I started walking away from him with a tear falling from my face.

"Bridget!" I heard Tc from a distance.

"What?" I turned as Tc ran to me, grabbed my face, and pulled me in for a romantic kiss.

"I'm not letting you move on Bri." He said smiling and looking into my eyes.

He hugged me and I couldn't help but smile. My favorite guy just made me the happiest girl in the world, no matter how mad he had made me five seconds ago. I felt as if we were the only two people on earth in that moment.
