Andrea's POV
I lied down on the couch missing Blake. I began to feel my eyes droop from being tired. The moment my eyes shut, I heard Ellie come into the living room. "Andrea!! Are you seriously about to go to sleep when we got Bridget over there who needs her girls?!"
"Sorry Ell, I'm just so tired." I said calmly as my eyes began to fall again.
"Andrea! Why have you been so tired these past few days?" She asked worried.
"Well," I said hesitating because I didn't want anyone to find out. "I..."
"WOMAN ARE YOU PREGNANT?!" Ellie shouted.
"Oh god no!!" I laughed. "I'm working with the FBI now, and all the cases they've had me on are so tiring."
"So is that why you wanted some alone time with Blake last night?" She asked as she began walking towards the love seat.
"Yep. And now with them going on tour and me being--"
"You being what?!" She said interrupting me.
"Me being gone.. I'm going to miss you guys so much!!" I said really fast hoping she wouldn't catch every bit of that.
"I'm sorry... When the hell were you planning on telling everyone you were leaving?!" She said coming in to hug me.
"Well, it's not official yet," she let go. "but the boss said I've been getting better and he's wanting me to go to the big place in Virginia if he gets it approved from the big boss." I said with a small tone in my voice. I was excited and sad all at the same time. Going off to do something I love, but leaving behind the people I love as well.
"Well let's go see Bri. And bring her some soup. Maybe that'll make her feel better." She said distracting me from crying.
"Okay, sounds good." I agreed.
We walked next door to Bri's house.
As we walked outside the warm air hit, and I could feel the sun on my cheeks. 'It's not going to feel this way in Virginia...' I thought to myself. We arrived at Bridget's front porch and Ellie proceeded to knock on her door making a beat. Before we knew it, Bridget was opening the door. But she didn't look like her old self. Her hair ratted and she looked pale as a ghost. "Aw, Bri, are you not feeling any better?" I asked her.
"No," she said walking back inside her house and plopping down on the couch to watch tv. "Why are you guys here?" She asked Ellie and I.
We walked after her and sat down on the other chairs provided in her living room. "We brought you some soup in hopes that you feel better." Ellie said with some hope in her voice for Bri.
"Thank you." She said not taking her eyes off of the TV.
I looked down at my phone to a call from Blake, but I ignored it so I could be there for Bridget. He called again. "Ugh," I answered the phone. "Yes Blake?"
"Hey! Are you and Ellie with Bri?"
"Yea? Why?"
"Tc's trying to get ahold of her but no answer."
I looked at Bridget. "Bridget..."
"Hm?" She said not moving a muscle.
"Has Tc called you?" I asked very concerned.
"Mhm."
"Babe!" Blake said catching my attention over the phone. "Here's Tc, he wants to talk to her." He said. I heard a ruffling noise through the speaker of the phone.
"Andrea?" Tc asked.
"Yea? Are you okay?"
"Yea, I'm just worried about Bri, she won't answer my calls. Is she okay?"
"Yea, she's fine, here I'll let you talk to her." I said as I handed the phone to Bridget, but she moved her hand to push it away. "Tc, she's fine, but she doesn't want to talk right now."
"Okay, I'll call her later. Here's Blake." He said as he handed the phone back to Blake.
"Okay babe, I've got to go! I love you!" He shouted.
"Babe!!" I shouted through the phone hoping he heard me.
"Yea?"
"I need to talk to you about something when you get home." I said with worry.
"Okay?" He said shakily. "Bye."Ellie's POV
Andrea looked at me with worry. She mouthed to me "should I tell her?" So that Bri couldn't hear her.
"Yea, go ahead." I mouthed back.
"Hey Bri." Andrea started. "I gotta talk to you about something? Are you okay to talk?"
She sat up on the couch. "Yea, I'm fine to talk, I just don't want to talk to Tc right now.
"Umm,?" I looked at her.
"Its nothing." She said rolling her eyes.
"Okay, well, I'm probably going to Virginia soon." Andrea continued.
"Um, why??" She asked with her eyes almost popping out of her head.
"Because it's for this FBI thing I've been working for. And they really like me so they want me in Virginia."
"Holy cow! That's awesome! I'm happy for you! Living the dream." She reached up to hug Andrea and sat back down. "I would hug you but..."
She laughed. "Yea, I know" Andrea smiled. "Thank you!"
"So when do you go?" Bri asked.
"Well," she paused. "Tomorrow afternoon.
"WHAT?! Bri and I both shouted.
"Yea, they texted me when we walked inside and said I needed to leave tomorrow. My plane is booked and everything." She replied.
"Holy cow." I said as I got up to hug her. "You gotta tell Blake now."
"Yea," she paused. "I know."
"Well, Bri, do you need us to do anything?" I asked.
"No, I'm fine." She said as she frowned some.
"Bridget." I said sternly.
"I'm sure! Go! Have fun! I'll be okay." She smiled.
The smile was enough comfort for me to know that she was in good hands with Tc checking up on her every 2 seconds. "Okay, love you girl!" I said walking towards her door. "We're next door if you need anything."
"Okay!" She answered.Bridget's POV
I laid there on my couch thinking about Tc. He was there for me all night and then knowing he was leaving soon made it worse. Maybe it's just the "first-days-of-a-relationship-jitters if that was even a thing. Or maybe it was the several years of constant heartbreak I had before him. But in my heart I knew he was different. Or at least, I had imagined him being much different than all the constant heartbreakers out there. I lied there on the couch waiting for his next call, and as soon as my phone rang, I answered it. "Hello?" I said still with my raspy and sick voice.
"Babe!" He said.
Hearing his voice always gave me that since of sureness. My heart pounded faster as if it was making a beat to the sound of his voice.
"Bri! Are you okay?"
"Yea! I'm fine." I said as I smiled.
"Okay, we're okay right?"
"Of course, I was just..." I paused to make up a quick lie. "feeling sick to my stomach, so I didn't feel like talking."
"Oh, okay. Just make sure you get some rest before I get there so that you're somewhat better," he paused, waiting for an answer, "please?"
"Okay, I will!" I laughed a little.
"I'll see you later."
"Just go to your house, I'll get some sleep so that I can go over there without feeling like complete shit."
"Okay, I'll see you later babe!"
"Okay! Bye babe!"
As soon as I laid my phone down, I passed out on the couch wrapped up in my blanket. I guess I was asleep longer then planned because I was woken up to Tc sitting on the couch next to me. Shaking my shoulders, not dramatically, but calmly.
"Bri?" He said. "I brought you some Gatorade to get your electrolytes back.
I blushed at the thought of it. "Aw! Thank you baby!" I leaned up to kiss him, but then I remembered. So I laid back down. Before I knew it he was leaning down to kiss me. "But, I'm sick."
"You're getting better, you're fine.. But you do know that it's 8 o'clock at night, right?" He laughed.
"Shit!!!"
"Bri," he said smiling. "Calm down. Oh, did you know that Andrea is going to Virginia tomorrow?"
"Yea, how did Blake take it?"
"He's kind of down, but he'll be okay."
"Well, let's go over there, I'm tired of staying cramped up in this stupid house watching reruns of spongebob."
He laughed. "Okay, come on." He said pulling me off the couch with both hands as he stood in front of me.
He stared at me as I was right in front of him. "What?" I smiled.
"Your even sexy when you've been sitting in your house for a week doing nothing." He said with a chuckle.
"Ew!" I laughed. "I'm gonna go fresh'n up."
