This is after lunch...

"It's such a shame that Joshua's sick. He's gonna miss all this." Vernon suddenly whispered as he noticed my very obvious uncomfortable state.

"I feel so out of place in here. I mean look at all the guest." I honestly said and then Vernon laughed at me a little.

"You look great. Better than everyone here." He suddenly complimented me. Weirdo.

"Stop lying to my face and give me a drink. If I'm gonna survive here all day, I'm gonna need a drink. And it's really hot right now so please pick a drink that's really cold." I requested and then he smirked and went to the bar. I stayed there and looked at the people around me. Everyone was wearing long gowns and a tux.

This is really fancy. I was not that prepared for this. Good thing Vernon gave me this to wear. He gives a lot of gifts lately and it feels like he's a sugar daddy or something. Maybe I should give him some things too but another time I guess.

Then he went back with cocktails in his hands.

"Here's for you. Don't worry it's not alcoholic because it's like 10 am and I don't think we should be drunk before the main event starts in the evening." He whispered and then squeezed by butt in the process.

I yelped a little but he just pretended not to notice. I slapped him in the shoulder and he just laughed at me.

"Don't do that! People might see!" I complained.

"So what? Joshua and Dk is not here anyway. We are technically free to be as flirty as we want." He said confidently and I rolled my eyes. He was right though, we didn't need to hide from people here since we barely know anyone here. Or so I thought. A random girl approached Vernon all of a sudden as we were arguing.

"Hey handsome! Didn't know you'd be here." Asked that random tall girl that approached us. Vernon was sipping his drink when that he faced her and he immediately chocked on his drink. I looked at him weirdly and tapped his back.

"Yoojung?" He suddenly asked as his eyes widened in shock.

"Woah for a minute there I was worried, you forgot about me already." She said.

"Oh, how can I forget my dance partner." He suddenly said flirtatiously and then I looked at him in shock. So I'm gonna see him in his natural environment of flirting is that what this is? I thought to myself.

"Shhhh I don't want people recognizing me and asking me to dance for them here." She said and they both laughed. I just kept quiet and then she looked at me.

"Is he your plus one? What a cutie!!" she said as she pinched my cheeks. As she did this, vernon grabbed her hands and put it back to their place and smiled at her.

"Yup. He's with me. Oh and sorry about her she's really touchy as a person." He suddenly told me as he fixed my hair in front of her. I got really embarrassed as he faced me and moved some of my hair away from my face.

"It's fine. Hi I'm Boo his friend" I introduced myself to her.

"Oh what a great name Boo. I'm Yoojung but my friends call me Jung for short. So please call me that too." She said as she grabbed my hands made me hug her. Vernon immediately furrowed his eyebrows and pushed his friend away from me like a possessive puppy.

"Would you stop that. He's getting uncomfortable." Vernon said and I laughed a little.

"Possessive much? Anyway It's so rare for you not to bring some random chick in this kind of event." She suddenly said and then Vernon looked at me.
