Chap 13 : It's Starting

Dokyeom pov.

Can you imagine living your worst life? Because I don't just imagine mine, I live it. 3 weeks of pure clinginess from Joshua and constantly being in his presence.

Just as everything escalated quickly, I now find myself in a situation where Joshua treats me as if nobody in the world exists except me. Can you freaking imagine that? Wherever I go, he goes. Whatever I do, even if I just wanted some eggs from the supermarket, he would come with me. What has the world come into? And Boo is not even any help. He now hangs out with Vernon all the time. Surprisingly they have a lot in common. And it doesn't help that Joshua still doesn't remember anything because he doesn't even go to work like all he does is stick to me.

—-Flashback #1—-

We were at an art museum for our monthly get together with Boo even if we meet almost everyday. We get together once a month just a special meeting so that we can both rant about things that bother us or some things new about our life or some kind of big decision we were gonna do. We have already talked about a lot today but then I remembered something I really wanted to know.

"So, you like Vernon around? You guys have been hanging out almost everyday this week. " I asked honestly.

"He's not bad. And he always takes me to great restaurants since he's so loaded." He suddenly answered and I almost laughed out loud at his practical answer.

"He's not your personal credit card you know." I told him jokingly.

"I know that. I don't even ask him to do that yet he's the one that takes me around." He told me honestly.

"Well there might be hope for him then." I told him.

"Yeah, it's just a little suspicious because of his sudden change of heart. It seemed like he was hiding something though and covering it up by buttering me up." He said as his face took a serious tone.

"You think he's up to something?" i asked in confusion.

"I think so, but I'm not complaining since I get the upper hand here and I get all the complimentary food." He said proudly. I smiled at him and then took a sip of my wine when I saw someone pretty familiar face in the crowd.

"He's still here?" Asked Boo as he noticed my expression.

"Yup" I said popping the P.

"What the hell happened to the both of you guys!? He keeps following you like a stalker." Boo complains.

"Well that's the other thing I need to tell you. He kinda told me he was gonna court me." I said as Boo took a sip of wine. As soon as he heard me he choked on it right away.

"He likes you? When was this and why wasn't I updated right away?!? Damn happy pride to him." Boo said jokingly.

"Last week.." I answered as I counted silently in my head.

"Oh, that's why he's been extra caring to you and extra clingy too. So you like him now?" Boo suddenly asked.

"Of course not. He's probably the last person I'm saying yes to." I answered right away.

"You say that now, but I don't see you complaining about the princess treatment you have been getting since last week." He said.

"That's rich coming from you" I told him jokingly and we both looked at each other and laughed. This is getting crazy.

"Just be careful not to get swayed." Boo said threatening me.
