Chap 22: Sick

Dokyeom pov.

"Vernon, can you please hurry up a little. Just ran the red lights I don't care." I said almost in a hurry that I just shouted at Vernon unconsciously.

"I'm trying here!" He said almost as scared as I am. It's a good think Boo and Vernon didn't go that far after what happened. Now Joshua is in my shoulder unconscious and I was holding on to his hands like glue.

"What the hell happened back there?!?" Boo said also in stress.

"You know pretty much as I am. He just suddenly lost consciousness and then I called you guys. If you hadn't picked up the phone I would have just cried like seriously." I told them as Vernon tried to avoid all the cars we have in front of us. It was like in a video games where he would take over cars and racing through without thinking.

"Could he be..." Boo suddenly said. He looked back at me and I knew exactly what he was thinking because as he was in pain back there, that was the only thing I could think of.

"No... he can't be... I don't know!" I said as I realized what Boo said. It would totally ruin everything. He can't be getting his memories now, not now that I just told him I love him.

"What? What are you guys talking about." Vernon said in confusion.
"Just keep driving you moron. This is a conversation for adults." Boo told Vernon as he furrowed his eyebrows.

"I am an adult." Vernon mumbled but then stopped talking as soon as Boo sent him a glare. A scene Like this will be so cute if we weren't in this situation.
"Joshua if you're joking, it's a pretty great time to stop." I whispered to him thinking it would miraculously wake him up like a fool.

"We're here." Vernon said and then they already prepared the gurney and everything because we already called their doctor so that they can be ready for us. They brought him in, while I wait outside. Vernon and Boo parked the car in the parking lot. It was a scene straight from a movie.

"Don't worry Dk, we're gonna take it from here." The doctor said to me. He already knows me because Joshua and I always goes together for his check ups.

"Thank you doctor." I said as I sat there outside the room. And for the first time ever, I have no idea what I was gonna do. I was stomped. After a little while, Boo and Vernon arrived and then we all sat together in silence.  I don't know what happened but all I know is that I can't take this right now. 

After a little over 30 minutes, the doctor come out.

"How did things go?" I asked right away as soon as I stood up. He was not in any surgery or whatever but I was just confused as to why he fainted on me.

"We are running some more test, but to be honest with you we don't think its anything serious." He said as he smiled.

"Is he getting his memories back? Is that why he fainted?" Boo suddenly asked curiously. I slapped him because he was more enthusiastic about this that I am.

"We have no way to find that out until he wakes up. Let's just pray that he is." The doctor said and then excused himself because he had other patients to attend to. In the mean time, Vernon took care of the room and everything. Of course it was a private room, and it has extra beds for us to stay in.

Later that night, Joshua was transferred to his room and then all of us stayed there. It was actually almost 11 pm and all of us were exhausted.

"He's really handsome when he sleeps like that." Boo suddenly said and Vernon and I looked at him in confusion.

"Dude Joshua's sick" I told him as I grabbed the pillow Boo was fixing for Joshua. Even if he was my friend, he scares me.
