Chap 19 : Rival for my Rival

Do you know how annoying it is to see someone that used to give you his whole attention and then being treated normally again? This is what is happening to me again and I blame it all to this new girl that keeps on coming back. It's almost been a week and she's never missed a day. I just kept myself busy by helping out on Boo's online business. He just have a lot of side jobs and it's super convenient.

I was totally set on telling Joshua what I felt after throwing that nasty girl out but then she found out that there was an unoccupied apartment just down the street. "Thanks tol Joshua's kind help". So annoying, she would have been farther in a hotel but Joshua was too kind for his own good. I decided to hold out for a bit before accepting his confession, just to make myself super sure and not just because of this girl. I don't wanna accept his affection and confuse it with my own just because he doesn't give attention anymore.

- Flashback -

"Joshua! Wanna hang out?" I texted him since it was a long time since we have seen a movie. And I myself really enjoy watching movies with him because he's kinda like my movie buddy. I like how he has a lot of commentary for the movie and we enjoy judging the characters in the movie.

"Oh that would be great!" He texted back and then I got out tickets to the new anime movie. Our rule was, who ever asked for the movie, he pays and chooses the movie. He was working late the last few days so it was his only free time. Unlike the unemployed me.

"Meet you at 4;00 pm" I texted since I was going with Boo this time. Having lunch together and talking shit about everything.

"Great! Oh and Yujin is coming, she told me that she was free. So buy an extra one, I'll pay for her." Joshua suddenly texted as I was buying some tickets online. Why was she coming? She doesn't even watch anime.

"Dude you have a sour face." Boo said as he looked at my frowning face.

"Yujin invited herself to our movie again." I said sulkingly. Boo just chuckled a little and shook his head.

"And your so sad because you can't keep Joshua to yourself. Tsktsk typical." He said teasingly and I glared at him. I slapped him in the arm and he laughed even more.

"No I was not thinking about that. It's just that it's a tradition and she doesn't even appreciate anime. Remember the one piece fiasco? She hated on the show because the animation was shit." I supported myself.

"She did? I take it Joshua was upset too?" Boo asked as he sips his coffee.

"He wasn't actually!! That's the problem, he just told me to understand her cause she was new or something" i complained.

"And now you're upset because He preferred her more than you now. See this is why I told you to to tell him already." He said as he grabbed the croissant from my plate. I was totally gonna eat that later but he already grabbed it. I just looked at him weirdly and he smiled innocently.

"I told you, the timing was weird. I don't want him to feel like I just liked him because I'an threatened by Yujin." I told him honestly.

"Whatever floats your boat. I'm just telling you that they don't have any relationship now." He said nonchalantly but I just rolled my eyes at him.

"One more thing, she also told Joshua to like chocomint ice cream despite him not liking it. She claims that it was her fav ice cream so he needs to like it as much as her. How annoying is that?" I complained once again. This went on and on until we were both sick of talking and after we finished eating.

*later that evening in the movies

"Dude it's already the middle of the movie." I said as soon as they arrived in the theater. I was exaggerating a bit but it was really a long time waiting.
