The Ghostly Trio were watching the news one night and saw the announcement of a spectacular scavenger haunt going on down in Texas.
"That sure sounds fun." Stinkie stated.
"Sure does, boys. I think we'll go to that scavenger haunt." Stretch smiled. He was eager for something new and exciting.
"I can't wait to see if they have any good food." Fatso declared.
"Sure they do." Stretch said.
They timed the event on the calendar and when the time came to go, they went to Texas.
............
Chaos left Tammie in charge of her kids. She kissed them goodbye before leaving.
"You both be good for Aunt Tammie while Mommy is gone." Chaos spoke in a soft motherly voice. She was always soft on her babies. They smiled and giggled. "You know what to do." She told Tammie.
"Yes. I will take good care of them while you're gone." Tammie replied.
She would feed and rock them, watch tv with them, sing them to sleep and all. She was a good babysitter.
Then Chaos left for the haunt event.
..............
Chaos and the Ghostly Trio all got to the event and went searching for things to occupy themselves until it was time for the event to be announced. The prize for winning all the scavenger items in the nick of time would be a vacation to a ghost island in the Philippines.
Stretch, Stinkie, and Fatso knew they would enjoy that.
Chaos would too and she and Tammie would go together with the twins if she won.
They all were far apart from each other, but eventually were moving closer to each other without knowing it. Fatso wanted to get some food from the buffet. His brothers let him just so he would get satisfied before the haunt would begin. They ate some food too.
There were also some arts and crafts around too. Chaos was looking at those. She didn't see the Trio right away, not knowing they were there. There were indeed some scary works of art in the pictures.
The Trio were anxious to get the show on the road. Stretch was taking a bite out of some cake as he looked around the event to see other ghosts, if he recognized any. Miss Banshee certainly wasn't here this time. Someone different would be announcing the cards and the prize.
Stretch suddenly saw something familiar over by the arts and crafts table. His eyes lit up. It made him drop his cake. He focused his vision to see if it was who he thought it was. The more he looked at her, it became apparent that it was her.
"Gee, Stretch, you didn't have to drop the cake on the ground." Fatso declared. He ended up picking it up and eating it.
It snapped Stretch out of his focus but kept his eyes on Chaos. "Hey, boys. Look over there at the arts and crafts table." Stretch ordered furiously.
Stinkie and Fatso looked at where Stretch was pointing at. "Is that who we think it is?" Stinkie asked.
"Oh, yeah. She's not getting away!" Stretch growled. "Get her, boys!"
They saw that Chaos was alone, but Stretch would make her lead him to his kids. They took off after the woman ghost.
Chaos was still admiring some crafts when she heard a voice she hadn't heard in a few years. "Well, well, well. Look who we have here." A soft commanding male voice said from behind her. She recognized it and she turned around to face the angry faces of the Ghostly Trio.
"Stretch. Hi, it's been a long time." Chaos greeted, in shock to see him. "Didn't know you would be here."
"Don't give me that! You stole my kids! Where are they?!" Stretch demanded angrily.
"I don't have to tell you anything. And I won't. They are mine." Chaos retorted.
"No, they're not! Where are they?!" Stretch demanded again.
"You'll get nothing from me. Later, Sleezeballs!" Chaos sniped and took off over their heads.
"Get back here, Chaos!" Stretch shouted. He and his brothers continued to chase after her. He had thought he would never see her again, but he wasn't giving up by a long shot this time.
They flew through other ghosts, and they wondered what was going on that three male ghosts would be chasing after one woman. But no one paid attention other than being annoyed.
Chaos cleared the area then eventually had to turn to face the three men chasing after her. The event had been forgotten.
"Get back here, you ditzy dame!" Fatso yelled.
"Oh, a ditzy dame, am I?" Chaos exclaimed and she turned to face them. She had a look of anger on her face that matched theirs.
"Spread out, boys!" Stretch ordered. They did as they were told. Stinkie went left, Fatso to the right. Stretch took the middle.
Chaos was surrounded by the guys. But she could take them she knew. But she was more focused on Stretch. But then, some arms grabbed her from behind. It was Fatso. He put all his weight onto her arms. "Gotcha!" He sniped.
"Good going, Fatso." Stretch praised his brother for once. Then Stinkie joined them too.
"What's your hurry, Sweetheart?" Stinkie mocked her.
"Let go of me!" Chaos ordered.
"No way, Lady." Fatso replied.
"They are mine now, Stretch. They were always mine." Chaos retorted back.
"I was the one that fed and carried them for the nine months. You were the one that forced them on me, but I still wanted them." Stretch proclaimed. "I shouldn't have even wanted them after what you did to me. You used me like I was nothing. No one does that to me! Now where are my babies?!"
"I'll never tell you that." Chaos snapped.
"Then we can have police deal with you." Stretch declared. "I had the kids put on a list of missing ones while looking for them after you stole them from me."
"Doesn't mean you'll get them from me." Chaos declared.
Stinkie and Fatso weren't so surprised that Stretch still wanted his kids. They were helping their big brother as they were a team. The big battle was between him and Chaos. They would support him. They had seen how miserable Stretch was after his twins had been taken from him.
"Do we have to take you to jail to get my babies back?" Stretch growled at her.
Chaos didn't want to go to ghost jail, but she wasn't going without a fight. In a moment, she used her tail to reach out and she suddenly grabbed Stretch's left arm and she pulled him down, making him cry out in surprise and she pushed back into Fatso and pushed him into Stinkie, and pushed them down to the ground. It had surprised them all.
Hitting the ground knocked the wind out of the boys. Chaos was on top, and she got Fatso to let go of her arms. Then she took off again.
"Don't let... get away..." Stretch ordered. He pushed his brothers off of him and he continued after the dame that had his twins stowed away somewhere. He was going to find them.
At the manor, the nursery was still set up to welcome home the twins should Stretch ever get them back. Stretch hadn't gone into it in years though. It was all dusty. It would need some cleaning out if he ever got his twins back.
The Trio continued to pursue the woman. They weren't letting her out of their sight. At one point, Stretch said, "Vanish, boys. She'll lead us to the kids one way or another." Stinkie and Fatso nodded in agreement, and they all vanished. They would keep following Chaos that way. It was the best way they could.
As much as Chaos had been looking forward to this haunt event, it was now the furthest thing from her mind. She had to ditch those men. She would never let Stretch have them back! They were hers! They knew her and didn't know him any longer.
Stretch wanted to punish Chaos so badly for taking his kids from him and he would, when he found out where she was stashing them. He and his brothers followed Chaos invisibly. She stayed far ahead of them, and they stayed out of sight.
