The next morning, everyone awoke, and Casper got to work making breakfast in the kitchen. It was Sunday. James and Kat came down to breakfast first, followed by Stinkie and Fatso.

"Where's Uncle Stretch?" Casper asked. All of his uncles came down together usually when they weren't fighting their worst.

"What? Didn't you hear?" Stinkie asked mockingly.

"Hear what?" James asked.

"We got the twins back last night." Fatso answered.

"Stretch's twins?" Kat asked in shock.

"Yes, Stretch's twins." Stinkie replied. "We saw Chaos at the scavenger haunt and tracked her to her home. Stretch wasn't to let us come home or do anything else until we got the twins back." He explained. "He's up in the abandoned nursery."

"In that, I wouldn't blame him since they were taken from him." James declared.

"Uncle Stretch must feel relieved that he has them back." Casper realized.

"Yeah, doesn't mean we do though." Fatso exclaimed.

Casper knew that he would save some food for Stretch and take it to him soon. For now, he went on making food for his family.

............

It was now morning and Brenda and Stephen woke up crying. They were also hungry. Their crying awoke Stretch soon enough.

"Huh?" Stretch was startled out of his sleep. Then he remembered what happened last night. He and his brothers had found Chaos and trailed her to her house. They had gotten his babies back. Now they needed him to be a parent to them if he was wanting them in his afterlife.

Stretch got off the bed that was in there and went to the cribs. "Hey, hey, now. What's going on there, kids?" he asked curiously. "Daddy's here now. No need to cry." Stretch was a little shocked he said that. He was a daddy! It still seemed hard to believe.

Stephen and Brenda stopped crying for a moment to see and hear a strange new voice. They hadn't heard their father's voice in a long time. They were a little startled. They were used to seeing their mother first thing in the morning, or Aunt Tammie. Women. They started crying again.

"Hey, hey. I'm not going to hurt you." Stretch said as he picked up Brenda first. Then he picked up Stephen. "Daddy's here." Then he smelled the diapers. They were loaded! Great. His first real job as a new daddy. He knew he would have to find the diapers to change them.

Could Stretch be a parent and still be a scarer? He was still confused at the moment. He would no doubt need help with the twins growing up. Being a scarer was his job as a ghost. Parents always found ways to work things out for their kids and balance a job. He also still needed to think of names for them. He would want some scary names too. They were his offspring after all.

Stephen screeched in fear of who was holding him, hurting Stretch's ears and nearly making him drop him. "Ow! That's a little hard on the ears, little guy." Stretch retorted.

Then it hit him! He would call his son Screech. Now for his daughter.

The family downstairs heard the baby sounds from upstairs. Stinkie and Fatso definitely weren't lying. Well, they would have to get used to hearing crying babies again.

"I think I'll go and see if Uncle Stretch needs any help." Casper said. Then he flew through the ceiling.

"Good luck in being able to get near the babies." Stinkie said smugly. He doubted he could.

In the nursery, Stretch was trying to rock the twins. He could smell food downstairs and his own stomach growled for it, but he had to take care of the twins first. They were apparently afraid of him, their own dad!
