Court started early that Wednesday morning, at 8 am.

Casper was put in charge of the twins at the courthouse. Everyone arrived at the courthouse to begin the case. All the witnesses were ready. Even James and Kat were there.

Chaos arrived in the room first. Tammy was in the room too. She was ready to stand with her friend.

The Ghostly Trio arrived second. Stretch had to be in a wheelchair as he was still in incredible pain. The poison that Chaos had given him wouldn't let his ecto heal straight away. The bandages were still wrapped around his belly. Stinkie and Fatso were his lawyers.

The judge soon arrived. "Let's get this on." He declared.

The lawyer before him declared, "Stretch McFadden vs. Chaos over deciding who gets the custody of their twin children."

"And where are the children in question?" The judge demanded.

"With our nephew, Casper." Stretch replied.

The judge saw the male ghost in the wheelchair. "So, what's going on that you are in a wheelchair, Mr. McFadden? You're a ghost. You shouldn't be in a wheelchair."

"I was poisoned by Chaos! She used poison from coils she had wrapped around my stomach and hurt me! I can't move!" Stretch explained. "I have every right to keep my twins!"

"They are mine!" Chaos shouted back at him.

"You didn't have to poison me! Now I can't move!" Stretch argued back.

"Order! There will be order in here." The judge ordered. "So, what's the deal that you can't come up with an agreement for custody of your children?"

"This man kidnapped my babies from me, Your Honor!" Chaos blurted out.

"I did not! You were the one that took them from me! I only saved them from you! You never let me see them for the last three years!" Stretch exclaimed. "Plus, you were the one that got me pregnant by force!"

The court heard Stretch's last words. "Did we hear that right? He was the one that carried the babies?" The judge questioned.

"Yes, I was the one that carried the babies to term." Stretch had heard him.

"Yes, that was true. I knew that Stretch was the man I wanted to give me kids, but I didn't want to carry them. I arranged for Stretch to carry them." Chaos explained. "But they were still going to be mine. Stretch is way too immature to care for my twins."

"I may have my immature moments, but ever since I got them back, I have been very attentive to them." Stretch retorted. "I am their father. I won't abandon them. I was also looking for them for these three long years. After I found out where you lived, I wasn't to give up until I had them back."

"Kidnapping kids is the wrong way to go about having them." The judge snapped and he pounded his gavel on the desk. "Sounds like to me you do need help in deciding who gets them."

"I am their rightful parent, Your Honor. I have raised them for the last three years because I didn't want them to have further contact with Stretch considering the way he is with his nephew." Chaos blurted out. "He and his brothers abuse their nephew as it is. Now they make him babysit and he is still a kid himself."

"Casper is old enough to babysit." Stretch snapped back. "And we are just hard on him to try to teach him to be a scarer too. We already won that custody battle."

"Tell me, McFadden. Why do you want these kids?" The judge asked.

"They are my family too. I never thought I would be a father ever. But after Casper once turned himself into a baby, and he had to turn back, that made me change my mind about possibly becoming a father someday if it ever came along. And when Chaos came along, I thought she was the perfect girl, until I found out she was using me just to get what she wanted. And she stole the babies from me shortly after they were born. She had forced an experiment on me, and I wasn't allowed to tell anyone during the whole pregnancy." Stretch explained. "I know how to care for my kids. I've learned."

"Stretch is a very attentive father." Stinkie admitted.

"Yeah, he takes good care of them." Fatso added.

"In the short time you've had them." Chaos declared. "But babies are a lot of work. You can't just keep your nephew in charge of them all the time either."

"I don't let Casper be in charge of them all the time, just when needed. I keep them with me most of the time." Stretch stated.

"And we find it annoying." Stinkie said, "But we put up with it."

Various witnesses were called. Miss Banshee was the first one. She said that she was there the day that Stretch had the twins at the hospital when he had gone in for a nose job. She and Casper were the only witnesses to it. She said that Stretch was a good uncle to be an influence to be a scarer and he was a good father to the babies.

Casper was later called. He explained how he saw Stretch as an uncle and as a father to his own kids.

The rest of their household was called too. James and Kat separately. They thought that Stretch was a good dad.

In the end, the judge had to decide what was right for the babies. From what he had seen from the witnesses and how injured Stretch was, and what he had heard from Chaos, that she was going to lose the custody of the twins and after what she had done to force an experiment on Stretch in the first place. Chaos was arrested and would be sent to ghost jail.

Stretch was satisfied that he was going to get custody of his twins. He smiled. The babies were brought in to be seen by the judge. He had to see the babies for himself.

"Cute babies, McFadden. Keep up the good work being a guardian to your nephew and being a dad to those babies." The judge decreed.

When the court was over, it was a relief.

Stretch now had custody of his kids, but then, the sister that the Trio also had been named Maimed came up to them.

"Auntie Maimed? What are you doing here?" Casper asked.

"I came as a witness." She replied. "The way that you are today Stretch, I think you should give those kids up."

"I won't give my kids up for nothin'!" Stretch retorted. "And if I did, it would be my choice."

"You won't be a good father to them. You'll just treat those kids like the way our father treated us kids, as like we were nothing!" Maimed went on. "And the way you treat Casper."

"I will not. I vowed never to treat my kids like that. And I've started over with Casper. But I will be hard on him when I have to, to make sure that he gets a good education and everything." Stretch retorted to his sister.

Stretch was now allowed to hold his twins. But on his way out, a doctor in the room came up to him and it was to see to his injuries. He had to see for himself how bad the injuries were. Stretch's ecto was inflamed and infected.

The doctor knew what to give him. He had Stretch swallow some certain fruits that would make the poison heal on its own before he was allowed to leave.

Everyone was glad to get out of there when they did.

I know this isn't like a normal court case you might see on tv or in person but in the case of one Casper episode where there was a court case, it was crazy and not like a normal case, so I did the best I could with a ghost court. But I hope this chapter was enjoyable either way.
