After what seemed like forever, when Chaos saw she wasn't being followed, she thought she had ditched the Trio. "They probably gave up following me like the losers they are." She thought out loud, but she would still keep an eye for them. She then headed home.

Stretch wasn't going to give up that easily this time, not by a long shot. He wasn't weakened by his injuries like he was last time.

The Trio followed Chaos all the way to Oregon, where she lived. When they saw her go into a house, they made sure to look in the windows to know for sure it was where she lived. Staying out of sight, they finally reappeared, then they snuck down below the window and looked inside. What they saw was a shock.

There were baby toys, swings, a trashcan for diapers, a mess of stuff for babies in the house. Stretch's eyes softened. He saw that Chaos had made a home for the twins here. It was understandable but he wasn't going to let her get away with this.

"Now that we know where she lives, boys, we are getting my kids back." Stretch spoke in a low voice. They had now lowered themselves below the window so they wouldn't be seen.

"But Stretch, you saw in there that Chaos has made quite the home for them." Stinkie said. "Are you sure you could provide such a home for them?"

"I had the supplies. And I'll make sure I have them again." Stretch retorted. "I don't care how well she supplied them. I want them back."

Stinkie and Fatso knew better than to sass their eldest brother. That's what got them punished and a fight would break out. But here, Stretch wanted to maintain a low profile until further notice.

"So, what are we going to do?" Fatso asked.

"Wait until she goes to bed, and we sneak in and get my babies." Stretch said. "I'm not leaving without them."

"What if she has more than them by now? Will you know which ones are yours?" Stinkie asked.

"Yes, I know my own kids." Stretch replied.

"You only had them for a brief time." Stinkie said.

"I know, but I knew them for longer too, while they were growing and moving about inside me." Stretch stated.

"That's something we've never known." Fatso declared.

"And likely you won't." Stretch snapped. He still remembered his pregnancy all too well, but he didn't want to go through it again. He hoped he would still find a decent woman for himself someday and be a real mother to his twins. He didn't want Chaos being their mother even though she was their biological mom. He had hoped Miss Banshee would, but she hadn't.

They waited for hours before another woman left the house and soon, the lights went off in the house. Then they waited another hour.

"Now do we go in?" Fatso asked.

"Now we go in boys and stay quiet." Stretch ordered.

The Trio quietly vanished and entered into the house. They looked through every room to try to find the twins. They found Chaos' room first. Then there was a room across from hers. They went into it and found two cribs with some sleeping baby ghosts in them.

They showed themselves. Stretch's eyes softened. He was now seeing his son and daughter for the first time since they had been taken from him. It brought a smile to his face. "My kids." He said softly. There were no other beds. He had finally found his kids. "I may not know your names, but you are coming home with your daddy tonight."

Stretch picked his kids up in his arms and held them proudly. Stinkie and Fatso saw how their brother was mesmerized by the babies. They didn't understand his approach to wanting them so badly but would go along with it.

"Now that we have them, let's get out of here." Stretch ordered. His kids were asleep at the moment. He then flew through the ceiling. His brothers followed and just wanted to go home.

Having forgotten the scavenger haunt, to Stretch, this was the ultimate prize of all, finding and getting his twins back. He gave them both kisses on the way home. His babies were worth more to him than any prize vacation or scavenger haunt event.

The Trio soon arrived home in Friendship, Maine. Stretch hadn't taken his hands off his son and daughter the whole trip. He wouldn't let Stinkie nor Fatso hold them, but then, they didn't want to either.

Stinkie and Fatso had thought their afterlives were just fine without the babies being around and Stretch had gone back to how he used to be before their arrival too after a while when Chaos had taken them away.

When they got into the Whipstaff house, Stretch went immediately to the abandoned nursery room. He blew a bit of dust out of the cribs but still wanted his twins to feel at home. Ghosts felt at home in dusty, spider web homes. He laid his daughter in her crib first, his son second.

"Aww! It feels good to have you two home again." Stretch sighed in relief.

Casper, Kat, and James had gone to bed for the night, so they had no idea the babies were here.

Stinkie and Fatso came into the nursery. "Room is sure a mess." Stinkie declared. "But then, it hasn't been in since before."

"I know. But that's gonna change." Stretch proclaimed. "It's still their room."

"Stretch, just what are we going to call the little stinkers?" Fatso asked curiously.

Stretch turned sharply at that, and he bashed his brother on the head with his hand in a flat pancake way, leaving Fatso's head flat before going to normal again. "My kids don't stink! Don't ever say that again!" Stretch snapped angrily.

"What are their names going to be?" Stinkie asked nervously. "We have to call them something."

"I haven't gotten that far yet." Stretch replied. "I'll think of something soon. Just leave me alone." He ordered.

Fatso and Stinkie knew it was better to leave their eldest brother alone with the twins, so they didn't get in anymore trouble. Stretch needed some new bonding time with the kids after he hadn't seen them for so long.

Stretch remained in the room with the twins. He smiled as he looked down upon them. "What am I going to name you guys?" he asked himself. "I never got that pleasure. But then, am I cut out to be the parent you guys need? It's hard enough taking care of Casper."

The Trio were the legal guardians of their nephew, Casper, but he was a lot older than these new babies. Stretch was an uncle to Casper, but to these two before him, he was their actual father.

Stretch had never thought he would get to be a father in all his life or afterlife. Of course, before Casper had changed into a baby, he had never had the yearning to have children of his own. He and his two brothers were free spirits. Always had been. But now, Stretch had more of a maturity to him now that he had a liking for babies. He still abused Casper like he always did but he still treated him with caring sometimes. But if his nephew wouldn't be so friendly, scarier, perhaps he wouldn't be so abusive.

He knew he didn't want to be this way to his own kids. He did want to be a good father. When his kids had first been taken from him, he had often watched how the doc was dealing with Kat and it had made him long for them. But he now had them back and he wasn't letting them go without a fight.

Stretch stayed in the room the rest of the night and fell asleep in there. He wasn't leaving his babies alone. Chaos would likely soon come here looking for them.

Stinkie and Fatso were feeling let down that their afterlives were not going to be the same again. The twins were back, and Stretch was not his normal self. He would go into that brooding behavior again, they thought. But then, his loving fatherly side would be shown to the twins. Probably more to Casper too, they wondered. What was the fun of not being able to abuse their nephew?

They soon went to bed in their own room, minus Stretch. It felt weird that he wasn't in there with them. His bed remained empty for now.
