"This database has footage of the zombies, doing things like building shelters and hunting in packs. It's scary stuff. The virus is evolving, getting more and more advanced with every passing day. It's only a matter of time before the zombies are as smart as us, or maybe even smarter. And then, we'll be facing a real existential threat." Ben was quiet for a moment, letting the pilot's words sink in. "So, what do we do?" he asked.
"We have to find a way to stop the virus from spreading, and we have to figure out a way to neutralize the zombies that are already out there," the pilot said. "But how?" Ben asked. "We'll have to do some research, to figure out the best way to approach this," the pilot said. "In the meantime, we need to gather supplies and find a safe place to stay. A place where the zombies can't get to us." "I know just the place," Ben said.
"There's an old bunker near my hometown," Ben explained. "It's been locked up tight for years, but it's in good condition. I think it would be a good place to make a stand against the zombies." "That's a great idea," the pilot said. "But how are we going to get there? The roads are filled with zombies, and it's not safe to travel by foot." "We'll take the train," Ben said.
"There's an abandoned train station near the bunker. If we can make it to the station, we can get on a train and ride it straight to the bunker. That way, we'll be able to avoid the zombies on the road, and we'll have a place to rest and regroup before we make our stand." "That's an excellent plan," the pilot said. "But there's one problem - we don't have a train." "I think I know where we can find one," Ben said.
"There's an old railroad yard near the train station. It's been closed down for years, but there might be a train there that we could use. I've heard stories about it, but I've never actually seen it." "Let's go check it out," the pilot said. They gathered their supplies and set out for the railroad yard. It took them several hours to reach the yard, and they were exhausted when they arrived. "Is it here?" the pilot asked. Ben nodded. "I can hear it."
In the distance, they could hear the faint sound of a train whistle. "Come on," Ben said, leading the way. They followed the sound of the whistle, until they came to a chain-link fence that surrounded the railroad yard. "There's a hole in the fence over here," Ben said, pointing to a gap in the fence. "Let's go." They crawled through the gap, and found themselves in the middle of the railroad yard. Sure enough, there was a train sitting on the tracks. "We did it!"
