Chapter 25

We sat Zack on a chair and Stiles sat on his bed. Scott became Mr. Mediator and I just stood there, looking at the floor. "Eva has something to say to all of us. And you two are gonna shut up and listen." He said. He looked at me to speak. "I don't know what I want anymore. I can't tell what I'm doing or what I'm gonna do, but all I know is that I miss my family. I miss my friends. I miss the old me, and all the pressure you guys are putting on me is making me fall apart. I want to go back to the way it was before. Okay?" I asked. They looked at each other and nodded.

"Now that that's settled. Scott, I wanna go home. Please?" I asked. Scott nodded and led me out of the house. We began walking to Scott's house, making small talk. "I forgot to tell you, we dealt with all the stuff with the deadpool and stuff for now." Scott said. I shot him a fake offended glare. "Without me?" I asked fakely shocked. He laughed and nodded. "I'm glad we did because then you could've gotten hurt." He said back. "Alright, fair enough. So where's Kira? I haven't seen her in forever." I asked. "Her family went on vacation." He replied. I nodded. We approached the house and went inside. Melissa was inside making dinner. "Hey mom, you're home. " He said. "Not for long. Hey Eva. Are you back to staying with us?" She asked approaching me for a hug. I nodded and hugged her. "Scott, Liam called. Something about full moon coming. He thinks he's ready." She laughed. Scott sighed. "He's not. I'll tell him to come over." He left the room to call Liam. I didn't really know Liam. I've heard of him, but never really met him.

Five minutes later, there was a knock at the door. Melissa answered the door. A guy that was a little bit taller than me with brown hair entered. "Liam, you're here. What's up?" Scott said coming over to me. Liam came up to me and put out his hand. "Hi, I'm Liam. New to the pack. And you are?" "Eva, old to the pack. The one who ran away." I answered. He nodded and smiled at me. My god, I thought to myself, why is everyone in this town so hot? "Must be something in the water." I verbally answered myself. Oh shit. "What?" Scott and Liam said in unison. "Nothing, just thinking aloud." I replied, taking my hand away from the guy in front of me. They both shrugged and went off somewhere "out of my hearing" to discuss the full moon (aka they went to Scott's room and played loud music so I couldn't hear).

As I waited for they guys to finish their talk, I hear a knocking at the door. I looked through the window and couldn't see anything. I opened the door just a crack to see and the door got shoved open. In came two guys with guns. "There she is. Grab her!" One said before shooting me with tranquilizer. I lashed out and tried defending myself, but the more I fought the less I could see straight. Finally, I heard Scott yell and lash out. But, it was too late. They already were carrying me out to an blacked out SUV. They loaded me into the back and began driving off. The last thing I saw was Scott and Liam chasing the vehicle.

When I woke up I was laying on the roof. Everything was blurry for a few seconds. It smelled like everything was on fire. I got out through a broken window. I saw a figure, I couldn't make it out. There were glowing green eyes approaching me. I turned the other direction and began running. I hit a wall. I noticed that we were in a military fort looking area, but all the guards were dead. I tried to climb the wall, but couldn't make it. I ran for the exit and got grabbed by a man. He seemed in his thirties, average build. He signaled for me to be quiet and follow him. He lead me to a bunker two miles away from the fort. He sent me into a room with a bed. "Here are some clothes." He said, throwing clothes at me. I quickly changed and went down the corridor into a room with a long table. He set down a tv dinner and water for me. "My name is Dan Sheeder, my daughter was turned into one of you and they took her and did experiments with other humans. One went wrong and killed her, but gave their other project a super mutation. Which has been killing their other subjects to prevent them from doing more projects. That's the thing we ran into with green eyes. What's your name, little wolf?" He said extending his hand. "Eva. When will I be able to go home?" I asked, shaking his hand. "I don't know, but I can let you call your friends and have them stay here for a bit to make sure everyone is safe." He replied. I smiled and nodded. He set down a burner phone and left the room. I dialed Scott's number.

"HOLY SHIT EVA. WHAT HAPPENED? I left for one second and then my door was kicked in and you were gone." He said. "Scott, some government scientists are after us. I'm safe, but I think you guys should come to where I am. It's safer here, but watch out. There's some super mutant werewolf out there. Bring everyone. Hurry." I replied. "Okay. Where are you?" "In a bunker two miles southeast of the closest fort to Beacon Hills." "We'll be there soon." "Okay, bye." I said before hanging up. Dan came back with a syringe. "This brings back your powers, but it brings them all back. We're gonna start training in an hour." He said before jabbing my arm with the needle. I felt the power rush through.
