Chapter 10

(Eva's POV)

When I woke up Scott wasn't there. I started to panic when Scott came in and laid down next to me. "Mom went to work and my sperm donor is asleep on the couch. What do you want to do?" He asked. "We could go get my car from the clinic." I replied getting clothes out. I put on jean shorts and a white tank top. "It's so cold out and you're gonna wear shorts and a tank top?" Scott said. "Yes but I'm not done." I said going into his drawers. "What are you looking for?" He asked. "This." I said taking out one of his sweaters. I put it on and reached in my coat from yesterday and got my keys. "Let's go." I said walking out of his room. I walked out of his house and over to his bike. I put a helmet on and got on, he looked shocked at first, then shrugged and got on. I smirked then sped off. We got to the clinic and my car was there in the same spot as yesterday. We told Deaton that we were taking my car an he said okay. I hugged and thanked him for everything and left.

I got to his house and he rushed me out just as fast as I got in. We got in my car and headed off. "Where are we going?" I asked. "You'll find out when we get there." He said grabbing my hand. The whole ride there was a comforting silence. He kept on glancing at me, an very confused look on his face. "What is he looking at?" I thought to myself. "A beautiful woman." Scott said. I was surprised by that. "How did you know what I was thinking that?" I said. "I don't know, I just kinda heard it." he replied. New sense I guess.

The area we came to was somewhat bare. The only thing in the area was one really huge tree. "What are we doing here?" I asked. "Extra training. We all saw how terrible the last battle went." he said. "Plus I have new abilities, lets try them out." he added with a wink. "If you think you can beat me, your wrong." I said as I readied my stance. We looked into each others eyes. I felt mine go red, and his changed too. Mine were a blood red, whereas his were a lighter red. We began our 'training'....
