Chapter 6

(Eva's POV)

"She was out trying to find me and she came behind me and scared me and I shot her on accident." Allison said. "Is that true?" He said opening a bullet. We all nodded. He stuck the powder in and I nearly jumped up but Scott and Allison held me down. Within seconds the healing process started. "I suggest you stay off that knee until its fully healed." Mr. Argent said. "Thank you sir. But, why did you help me?" "Because any friend of Allison's is always welcome, except for Scott of course." He said. We all laughed, "Well I should get going, my pack will be worried." I said getting up, but failing. Scott put me on his back piggy back style. "Bye! Thanks for everything!" I yelled as Scott and I left.

As soon as we got in the elevator, I sat on the floor. "Why are you down there?" Scott asked.

"Because I'm too lazy to hold on to you." I said. Scott picked me up bridal style, "Better?" He asked. I nodded.

As soon as we got to my house, I told him to let me walk in and that I wanted him to go in through the window. He went to the side of the house where my room is. It hurt to walk because it wasn't fully healed on the inside. I went in, said hi to everyone and went straight up to my room. Scott was already there. I laid down on my bed, Scott laid next to me and wrapped his arms around me. He pulled me into his lap. He started messing with my hair. I almost fell asleep when Scott jerked his head. "I got to go, someone's in trouble." He said getting up. "I can come with you and help!" I said getting up too. Hey I guess my knee healed. "Fine, meet at your car in five?" He said, I nodded.

I ran down the steps and everyone was gone. I ran straight to my car. I got in, turned it on and looked at Scott. He could tell I was worried because he leaned over and kissed me. I wasn't aggressive, it was passionate. I loved it. I pulled out of my driveway. "Where do we need to go?" I asked. "The school and the hospital." He replied. I put it in drive and drove as fast as I could in the storm to the school. There was a dead body on the stage, and a shriek from down the hallway, it was Lydia. I pulled Scott down the hallway and into the room it came from. There was Ms. Blake with Lydia tied to a chair. Sheriff Stilinski was sitting on the ground with a knife in his chest. Stiles tried getting in, but Ms. Blake blocked the door. Ms. Blake wasn't herself anymore, she was hideous. Scott and I tried attacking her, but she just pushed us back. That made me turn. As Scott untied Lydia and got the knife out of Sheriff Stilinski, I attacked Ms. Blake. I swiped my claws at her, but she just pushed me away and I passed out.

When I woke up, I was in my car. "What happened?" I asked. "Sheriff Stilinski is gone." Scott said with a frown. Stiles was silent in the passenger's seat. I hugged stiles from behind to comfort him. I sensed him relax. "Where are we going?" I asked. "To the hospital, Ms. Blake said she can heal Cora." Scott said. I just nodded and sat back in the seat.

When we got to the hospital I stayed in the car since I was technically "weak" (says Stiles). I stayed there until I heard a shriek, Scott's mom. I didn't care about my car being open, I rushed to the roof. I came just in time to see my dad. "Evangeline, what are you doing here?" He asked. "I told you I don't like being called that dad! And I'm here to help friends." I said. Just then, Scott came out. "You both just missed her. Scott, your mother's gone, but I know where to find her. If you join me, we can find her." My dad said. "Wait Scott don't do this, we always have a Plan B." Stiles said. He looked so hurt. "Scott you don't have to do this." I said. He and I both knew that if he joined our pack, he would become a killer. "I have to, he knows where my mom and Sheriff Stilinski is," then he turned to Stiles, "I'll get your dad back, I promise." Then he went to my dad. "Are you coming Eva?" He asked. "Yeah dad, I am." I said following. I caught up with Scott and interlocked fingers with him. He squeezed my hand and looked at me with sadness. I got up on my tippy toes and have him a reassuring kiss. We walked down to my car and drove off.
