Chapter 5

(Eva's POV)

*2 days after the kiss*

Allison: We need to talk. :|

Me: Okay when and where?

Allison: 4pm in the woods?

Me: Okay cya then.

I looked at the clock. 3:40... I got my shoes on and walked off into the woods. About 2 miles in an arrow shot past me. I turned around just in time to get an arrow in the knee. I looked to see who it was, it was Allison. "Allison? What are you doing?" I asked, trying not to cry in pain. "The more important question is why did you kiss Scott?" She responded. "I didn't kiss him, he kissed me!" I yelled! "Liar!" She screeched as she pulled the arrow back. But, before she could let go the arrow, a voice interrupted. "She's telling the truth." Scott said from my right. "Doesn't matter. She still deserves to die." She said as she re-aimed. "You can do that, but you'll have to kill me too." He said as he stepped in front of me. He pulled the arrow out and boy did it hurt.

I could sense that my pack was coming so I grabbed Allison and Scott and ran. "Why are we running?" Allison asked. "Her pack is coming. They sensed her pain." Scott answered for me. I pulled them into a shed. "Now I don't know about you, but I didn't want to end up dead." I panted. "Why'd you save me?" Allison snapped. "Because even if you don't like me, I want to be your friend." "Oh." Is all she said. Scott pulled me to the other side of the shed. "Are you okay? Let me see your knee." He said lifting it. It was letting a purple fume off. "Wolfsbane" Scott and I said at the same time. Scott stared at Allison with such hatred that you couldn't even tell they dated. "Calm down Scottyboy." I said, taking his hand. I kept him from turning. "Allison, do you by chance have a wolfsbane bullet on you?" I asked. "No, but my dad does." She said. "Great, lets go." I said getting up. "No no no no. I'm carrying you. You can't walk." He said picking me up bridal style. I giggled and Allison rolled her eyes.

As we reached Allison's apartment, Scott let me down. I held on to his arm, but as soon as we got in her apartment, I collapsed. Scott caught me and held me. We sat down as Allison got her dad. "Does it hurt?" Scott asked. "No it tickles." I replied sarcastically. "Sorry." He said. After like 20 seconds of silence I finally said, "Scott, what are we now?" "What do you mean?" He asked. "I mean after the kiss, are we dating or what because I'm confused." I said. "Oh. I thought the kiss meant we were dating." He stated. "Oh, cool." I said before Mr. Argent came in. "What happened?" He asked.

How do I explain that his daughter shot me?
