❝ I woke up pretty late in the morning, super confused and still sleepy. I make my way over to Bellys room, knocking on her door.
"Good morning Bells, how are you?" I ask my sister as I sit down on her bed. She looked just as terrible as me, which made me feel a little bit better about myself.
We start gossiping about what happened yesterday with Conrad and Jeremiah, both super confused but still excited.
My sister told me she almost kissed Conrad but then his phone rang and the moment was ruined. "Oh my god, Connie totally likes you. I'm so glad you two are finally going to happen," I squeal in excitement.
"Says you? Jeremiah practically declared his love for you yesterday and you are still confused about that?"
We both start laughing.
"By the way, did you ask Cam to the deb ball yesterday?" I bring up.
She shakes her head, defeated, "No, there were too many margaritas for that. Seems like we both have to dance with each other today in the lessons."
"Sounds pretty good to me."

We arrived to Ms. Covington's dance classes on time. I look around and see everyone standing there with a dance partner.
Belly and me were the only ones without anyone, but at least we are two, so we can dance together.
"Hey Belly, hey Julia!" Shayla greets us smiling wide.
So she and Steven made up, I'm so glad about it.
I greet her back and so does my sister. "Hey. I'm so sorry I was such a mess yesterday. I really hope I didn't screw things up that bad," she apologizes for her behavior yesterday.
"It's okay," Shayla brushes it off, "We're good."
"Yeah, but you were a Tasmanian devil, though," Steven chuckles.
"Be nice," Shayla starts, "We've all been there. The first time I got drunk, I FaceTimed each one of my exes, one by one, and made them all tell me why we broke up."
I laugh until we get interrupted.
"Attention, everyone," Paige enters the room with this old rich looking lady, "Please welcome our debutante waltz instructor, Ms. Covington, all the way from Ms. Covington's School of Ballroom Dance in Newton."
We all applaud.
"Thank you, Paige," the lady starts, "As you all know, the waltz is the most highly anticipated part of the ball. So, please join your partners now.."
