Insomnia.

I've never doubted, sleep won't embrace me,
I think even this, I can't achieve, you see.
I've tried, all in vain.

My body remains still, my heart warns me so,
In the dead of night, it restarts, try as I may,
I've tried, all in vain.

Insomnia, life can't be this way, I say, life, life, life...

Forbidden drowsiness,
I only dwell on the edge,
Like a flower, its color fading,
To wither without strength remaining.

Emotions, flavorless,
Like a rain of vacant glances,
Insomnia, like a fear,
Growing into a fright, oh dear...

Cross-legged, encircled by a dozen flames,
I meditate, determined, in darkness I claim,
"But which path is my life's aim?"

A child, born without hope, life's been unkind,
Despair, a fog, clouds my every thought, confined,
"Isn't it nearly done?" I claim.

Insomnia, life can't be this way, I say, life, life, life...

Forbidden drowsiness,
I only dwell on the edge,
Like a flower, its color fading,
To wither without strength remaining.

Emotions, flavorless,
Like a rain of vacant glances,
Insomnia, like a fear,
Growing into a fright, oh dear...

Three in the morning, night's weight upon me,
Anxieties rejoice, like devils they plea,
I'm consumed by thoughts of ill.

Dreams of tomorrow, in fear, they reside,
It's the end that awaits, a story now aside,
I'm consumed by thoughts of ill, oh, the thrill...

In shadows cast by doubts, I silently roam,
A wanderer of the soul, longing for a home,
Through corridors of uncertainty, I tread alone.

Forbidden drowsiness,
I only dwell on the edge,
Like a flower, its color fading,
To wither without strength remaining.

Emotions, flavorless,
Like a rain of vacant glances,
Insomnia, like a fear,
Growing into a fright, oh dear...

Within the depths of this sleepless night,
A symphony of thoughts takes flight,
In the silence, the universe unfolds,
A tapestry of mysteries, stories untold.

And as I walk these midnight streets,
Through echoes of time, my heartbeat beats,
The moon's soft glow, a guiding light,
Leading me through the obsidian night.

Within the depths of this sleepless night,
A symphony of thoughts takes flight,
In the silence, the universe unfolds,
A tapestry of mysteries, stories untold.

And as I walk these midnight streets,
Through echoes of time, my heartbeat beats,
The moon's soft glow, a guiding light,
Leading me through the obsidian night.

Forbidden drowsiness, a fleeting dream,
In the realm of wakefulness, a silent scream,
Yet within these restless hours, I find,
A canvas of thoughts, a restless mind.

Emotions, like stars, shimmer and gleam,
In the vast expanse of a sleepless dream,
Insomnia's embrace, both foe and friend,
In the endless night, where thoughts transcend.
