7th October 1862
John looked back at him. „Yes, you can continue."
„Alright, so one day we got into a big fight and I couldn't resist it longer so I just left her." Paul answered while he was smiling to himself.
John who was still looking at him uttered. „Oh and that's why you are homeless? I mean, you live with me now." He smirked while he was saying these words.
Paul smiled. „Yes, that's it. And well, then I met you in that pub and I'm so lucky honestly. I can't explain how thankful I am. For you." He eyed John.
And they had their well-known eye contact again. „Paul I'm so sorry that you had to go throught this all. You didn't deserve this, you are an amazing lad and I am so sorry for your loss. At least you can be here with me now. I am proud of you." John said and smiled at Paul.
Paul felt his eyes water. He threw himself into John's arms.
John wrapped his arms around Paul and let him cry to his chest. The feeling of their touch was very intense. It made them feel so safe like they had never felt before. Hearts were beating unbelievably fast at that moment. It felt so fucking comfortable, the touch. John felt so special because of the fact that this Paul lad have just told him his struggles. It made him feel so content that he could help him now. It must have been so difficult for Paul to deal with all these things and John knew that he would try to do everything to make Paul's life more meaningful. This man was truly so special to John. Poor lad, he didn't deserve it at all, he was just too perfect to deal with all this things. John thought that maybe he could tell Paul about his mother's death, at least they could have someone who has gone through the same thing and someone who they could relate to. John was just waiting until Paul calmed down. Paul sobbed into John's shirt. John ran hands through Paul's soft, fluffy, ebony hair. When Paul had calmed down a bit, he rested his head on John's chest and looked up at the ceiling. John was playing with Paul's hair.
„Paulie?" John said with a soft voice.
„Yes John?" Paul answered.
John looked down at Paul. „You remember how yesterday you um- technically today asked me how am I so rich?"
„Yes I do John."
„Well, I would like to tell you my story now." John said with a hint of nervousness in his voice.
Paul raised his head and looked into John's eyes. „Im all ears."
John took a deep breath. „My father abandoned me when I was four, I actually have never known him very well. My parents separated but they were still married. Anyroad, eh- my aunt Mimi took care of me." John stopped for a moment.
Paul took his hand. „When I- I was seventeen." His voice cracked. „She died. I was just getting to know her." John let out these words from his mouth.
Paul felt sadness and sympathy towards John. „This is so horrible Johnny, c'mere." With that Paul tightened his grip around John and John did the same back.
„And well when I became an adult it was weird to me to live with my aunt Mimi anymore. She showed me this house. My mom owned it, she was very very rich. And well I don't have any job now." He lied. 'Exept of murdering people.' John felt that his body slightly shook under Paul's touch. He hated that he was lying to Paul about the job thing.
Paul stroked John's auburn hair. „That's alright John, I think that this house is very beautiful and I feel very comfortable here. You are a great person and so much more that you think you are. And you didn't deserve this. The shit you had to go through is breaking my heart for you" Paul was talking with that beautiful voice of his that made John have butterflyes in his stomach instantly.
John looked up to see Paul's beautiful face. „I can't explain how glad I am that you like it here, and no Paul, it's alright. I will be fine. I am also here to help you too."
„Of course Johnny, and thank you." Paul giggled and wrapped his arms around John even tighter. „And I can't explain how thankful I am that you let me live here with you." Paul smiled shyly.
'What is this man doing to me?' John thought as he looked at Paul's face which was plastered with a beautiful smile. John felt like he was going crazy when that man was with him. „It's my pleasure." Paul had a huge spark on John.
And the day went on like this. They were drinking alot of tea and were talking basically for the whole day just enjoying eachother's presence. They were able to feel that their relationship was developing to a strong bond. They were talking about everything that came to their mind's, slowly getting to know each other better. Both of them couldn't explain why there was always that big tender of comfort betweem them, and that deep connection. They thought that they could talk about anything with each other and never get bored. They had never ever guessed before that a complete stranger they've met in a pub would change their life like this. The death's of their mothers also made them really close. They knew that they could rely on eachother. When their relationship has progressed this much just after a day, they were a bit scared to know how it would be in the future but of course they were excited about it too. They saw the sun slowly set, didn't even realise that they were there sitting and talking for hours straight. The time was going too fast for them to comprehend it.
„Shit we talked for so long, not that I am complainig but I feel like we should go to bed soon." John spoke up as he was standing up, he went to light a candle that was resting on the table.
„You are right." Paul who was tired himself answered.
John walked back to Paul, stood in front of him and pulled out his hand to help Paul stand up again.
They strolled up the stairs to their room. John opened the door. They rushed to their beds and climbed down under the cowers together. The beds were really close beside each other, basically almost like one big bed. They did not bother to change to their nightshirts.
They were laying on their beds for a few minutes and couldn't take their eyes off of eachother. „John I just wanted to say that you mean so much to me and I am feeling so unreal everythime I am you, it's so scary but I don't care. Also I just want to thank you that you listened to me and helped me to calm down my emotions." Paul said with a serious tone.
John felt his heart slowly turn warm. „Paul I want to thank you that you listened to me too and helped me with your sympathetic words, you mean so much to me too and the time that I get to spend with you is like a gold." He smiled softly.
Paul crawled closer to John, pulled his arms around him and John wrapped his arms around Paul back. They were too tired to think twice about what they were doing. The touch just felt too pleasant for both of them to let go of eachother.
„Don't let go of me please." Paul said as he was relaxing in John's warm embrace.
„I will not."
And there they were. Cuddling in a bed with eachother, didn't even feel weird because it just felt so bloody natural and normal.
They both fell asleep with a huge smiles on their faces, still were holding onto eachother.
