The song played and the notes appeared on the screen in front of Draco. He studied the notes closely, shifting his guitar in his lap. He hummed the lyrics as he read the notes over, trying to figure out the beats and times of it. He gave his guitar a quick tune before strumming and preparing it for the verse.

"Record Player" had been Draco's favorite song for ages, and he'd been trying to figure out how to play it on the guitar for even longer. He was an excellent guitar player, though nobody knew about his hobby. He was good at picking notes up but this one song he could just not grasp. He gritted his teeth as he messed the notes up again, throwing his head back. Draco looked back at the notes and inhaled. He moved his fingers along the strings of the guitar and studied the notes once more, just trying to figure this out. He was feeling deep confusion with this song but would not stop until he could play it right.

He strummed, kept experimenting with the different tunes, trying to get it right. The whole time, Draco did not realize the door was open. When he finally got a note right, he figured no one would be hearing him. He finally got another. And another. Finally a line. He kept playing and playing.

Then, he felt the pair of his eyes on him, burning into him. He turned and a few ripples of shock went through him when he saw Harry Potter, his enemy and very secret crush, at the door, staring at him.

"Potter?" Draco asked, shoving the guitar off his lap. "What are you—?"

Harry raised his hand to stop him. The boy with the jet black hair looked at him. "You're really good at that, you know?" He leaned against the doorframe, looking at his enemy.

Draco narrowed his eyes, resisting the urge to accept the compliment. "I don't need you to tell me that, Potter."
Harry raised his eyebrows and sighed, gesturing toward the guitar. "Could you teach me a few notes?"

     Draco's jaw almost dropped. "Sorry?"

Harry rolled his eyes. "Are you that thick headed? Could you teach me some notes?"

Draco snapped out of the shock of Harry asking Draco to teach him guitar. "I...why...why should I? We literally hate each other, and now you're asking to learn the guitar?"
The shorter boy sighed and leaned against the doorframe, running his hands through his hair, an action Draco found extremely attractive for some reason, and said, "Good point." Harry sighed, before reaching in his pocket and fishing some galleons out. Draco's eyebrows raised at the gesture, as Harry said, "These, and I'll get some of Hagrid's green apples for you."

Draco almost smiled, but stopped himself. He stood up straighter, running his finger along his guitar. "Granny smith only, and I want six of them."

"Deal." Harry walked over, handing Draco the galleons. He looked at the computer scene, sitting next to Draco. "Record Player? You know that song?" He looked at his enemy.

Draco scoffed. "Of course, Potter, who doesn't?"

Harry shifted in his seat, brow creasing slightly. "I figured you would be more of a heavy metal guy." Draco gave him a look and Harry put his hands up in defense. "It was just a guess."
