There will be angst in this one but some fluff in the end...sorry, tried to stay to just fluff, but this was a good idea I had!

Hogwarts Year: Six

Draco was stressed, so very stressed.

He was a Death Eater and he didn't want to be. He had the task of killing Dumbledore. And he had to do all this while having a crush on Harry Potter, the boy who hates him. He stood at the top of the Astronomy Tower, running his hands through his hair, looking down at the ground. He wanted to cry, he wanted to scream, but he didn't...he kept his feelings inside and trapped.

And that didn't do anything to help.

He looked up at the sky, stars beating down on him in his sorrowful moment. Draco felt so alone, so afraid, so upset, so many negative emotions that did nothing good for him. He looked back down toward his feet and stayed the way he was.

     Until—

Draco heard footsteps behind him and he turned instantly. He saw a shorter figure with black hair come out from the stairs and his eyes instantly widened, seeing Harry Potter come out. He just stared at him, before Harry turned to him and took his wand out.

"Sorry to disrupt you," Harry said, frowning and pointing his wand at Draco. "But I have a few questions for you."

Draco gave him an angry look. "What do you want, Potter?"

"First of all," Harry said, gripping his wand, "what do you know about Voldemort?"

Draco's eyes widened and he quickly looked away from Harry. "I don't know anything," he said harshly, but his lie was obvious—he couldn't lie to someone he was in love with.

"Liar," Harry growled, storming toward Draco. He glared at him. "You're one of them. You're one of them, just like your father."

Draco gave Harry an angry look. "Don't you dare bring my father into this!"

"I will bring your father into this!" Harry yelled. "I want answers, Malfoy! I know you're a deadly monster! You're a Death Eater! You probably want to kill us all!"

Draco's angry look faded and was replaced with one of surprise. The words stung, they stung so very bad. He backed up a bit, looking at Harry, the angry expression on his face.

That very expression was the straw that broke the camel's back.

Draco practically collapsed. He fell to his knees, then into a sitting position. Tears filled his eyes.

"Malfoy...?" Draco heard Harry say, but he didn't listen. He looked away from Harry, burying his head in his hands. Harry was right. He was a deadly monster. He was a Death Eater. He was a terrible person and he didn't want to be.

Harry crouched in front of Draco, a concerned expression on his face. "Draco," he said sternly, but softer than before. Draco looked up, tears now streaming down his face. The taller boy wanted to be honest, he really wanted to be.

     And he did.

Without hesitation, he pulled his sleeve up and showed Harry his Dark Mark. Harry's eyes widened and burned with hatred. When the Chosen One was about to say something, the young Malfoy said, "Please. Don't yell at me." He sounded hopeless and vulnerable, which was not a normal thing for him. "Please. I don't want to do this." The tears were coming down fast, and he looked at Harry, gray eyes glassy from tears. Harry's look of hatred was gone, replaced with sympathy but flicks of suspicion.

"How do I know you're not lying?" Harry asked quietly, looking Draco in the eyes.

"You don't," Draco said weakly through choked, silent sobs. "I—I don't have evidence I'm innocent. I know you don't believe me, I know you don't. But I promise I'm telling the truth. I'd make an unbreakable vow to prove it."

Harry was surprised at Draco's words, Draco could tell. But now, his look was pure sympathy. He sat next to Draco, looking at him. "Draco, he's damaged you, hasn't he?" Harry asked softly, looking at Draco. "Your father. And Voldemort."

Draco just nodded. He couldn't lie to Harry, he just couldn't. He didn't care how much Harry hated him, he loved him and had since he first saw him in the first year. Harry sighed, reaching his hand out to Draco. The tall boy gave him a confused look but then Harry guided Draco's hand to his own. No hesitation, Draco locked his finger's with Harry's and his eyes filled with tears again. He pulled Draco forward and the blonde boy cried on the black-haired boy's shoulder while Harry whispered words of comfort to Draco.

They stayed in this position for so long. Draco's tears of pain and trauma seemed to never end. Even as he pulled away from Harry's shoulder, tears still streamed down his pale cheeks. Harry looked at him with a worried and upset expression. Draco ultimately pulled Harry close to him and he felt the younger boy tense but then he wrapped his arms around Draco, resting his head on Draco's chest.

Finally, Draco couldn't take it anymore. He couldn't keep it. "Harry," Draco croaked, voice hoarse from crying.

     "Yes?" the black-haired boy asked.

     "I–I love you. So much."

Harry looked up at him, surprised, with his glasses slightly foggy. A faint blush appeared on his cheeks, but then Harry's surprise expression changed back to one of sympathy and then pure love. He shifted in Draco's arms and then leaned up and kissed Draco directly. Draco felt waves of surprise go through him but with no hesitation leaned into the kiss and enjoyed every moment of it. Every bit of worry seemed to slip away in that gesture and Draco and Harry both wished it would forever last.

When Harry finally pulled away he rested his head back on Draco's chest and whispered, "I love you too and I will no matter have evil you seem because I know, deep down, you're not, Draco. We're gonna get through this. Together."

Draco pulled Harry tighter, resting his forehead on the top of Harry's head in the most perfect embrace.

"There's no one else I'd rather go through this with, Potter."

Harry looked up and kissed Draco again before going back to their position. "And I can say the same for you, Malfoy."

A/N

Hi! I think this is honestly my favorite I've written. I don't know why, I just like this one for some reason. Anyway, hope you're enjoying these! Also, we've made it to rank 479 out of over 14,000 stories in #drarry! This feels like quite an accomplishment for me, especially since at this time I've only joined two days ago. Anyway, have a lovely day!

Btw, should I make this specif oneshot into a book? Idk if I should, please tell me if so! ^
