Abby Pov:
we're outside of max's house.
max is practicing her skateboard tricks.
"this is useless, i can't do it." max spoke.
"yes, you can, max. you're doing great!" i told her as i smile.
"thanks, abby." she replied as she smiles back.
she tries the trick one more time.
her skateboard slides, which made her almost fall.
"shit!" she exclaims as her skateboard continues to slide.
"are you okay?" i ask her as i walk towards her.
"yeah, i'm fine." she replied.
then we notice that someone has picked up her skateboard.
we look to see who it is and it was el.
"ellie?" i said.
she walks towards us.
she gives back the skateboard to max.
"hi." she spoke
"hi?" max replied.
"can we talk?" el asks.

we're in max's room.
el explains what happend between her and mike.
i sat down beside her on the bed.
max is pacing infront of us.
"and then he said he-- he missed me. and then he just hung up." el explains.
"he's a piece of shit." max spoke as she stops pacing.
"what?" el questions.
"mike doesn't have jack shit to do today, and his nana obviously isn't sick." max replied.
"i guarantee you, him and lucas are playing atari right now." max added.
"but friends don't lie." el said.
"yeah, but boyfriends lie." i said.
"all the time." max said.
"really?" el asks.
"yeah, when i dated liam, he was a lying sack of shit, but i don't know if mike is like that." i replied.
max also sits down on the bed beside her.
"you're going to stop calling him. you're going to ignore his calls." max tells el.
"as far as you're concerned, he doesn't exist." i told el.
