Sometimes love comes, unknowingly, into your life. Sometimes even unwanted. But you can’t fight it. You can’t escape it. It will follow you. It will find you. And most importantly, you will fall for it.
When you meet that person, you will know just from the first look. Or maybe it’s that first conversation. But once you get the butterflies in your stomach, you’re a goner. At first it starts off with the denial. You always think to yourself, “I don’t like him,” or “Do I like him..?”
The second step of this process is the nervousness. Suddenly, you want to look good around him. You want to show off when he’s around. You want to impress him to the ends of the earth. You also end up smiling a lot more when you’re around him. Anything he says makes you smile. Everything he does, makes you fall for him a bit more.
Then it’s the obsession. Everyday you wake up, it’s to see him. All you crave, is to see his face. To hear his voice, to be with him. Any kind of communication will satisfy. He’ll envelop your mind until you can’t even focus on anything besides him. Him, him, him.
When the last stage hits you, it hits hard. Finally, all you can think of is being with him. Being his only girl. Being the one he holds forever. Being the only one he’ll kiss. Being the only girl he looks at with those googly eyes.
Now sadly, if you can get past the last stage without any issues, then you’re living in a fantasy world. This is reality. And, like it or not, life is not simple. Take that advice from someone with a werewolf boyfriend that you’re positively in love with, but are absolutely forbidden to see or even talk to. Not to mention he’s your Alpha.
Life…doesn’t always work out sometimes. It seems like everything on earth is against you. Even your own mother sometimes. Things turn at a drop of a pin. One minute everything’s going as sweet as sugar, then it’ll turn lemon sour.
That’s my life. A complete and utter rollercoaster ride. The ups, downs, and loop-dee-loops. The whole thing.

The sun peered through my window. So bright, so warm. My eyes opened slowly and I groaned. I really didn’t feel like getting up. My arms were still soar from swimming yesterday and my legs still ached from doing the relay race with Matt. I had to carry him on my back once. Let’s just say that’ll be the only time that’ll happen. Next time, I’m on his back.
I smacked my lips together a few times, then threw the sheets off of my legs and stretched. My arms and legs cracked a few times.
“Hey sleeping beauty.” I spun around directly to the source of where this voice came from. Someone was in my room! In shock my eyes widened, then relaxed once I saw Matt standing by the door, smirking.
I sighed and dropped my arms. “Matt…you scared me.” I placed my hand where my heart was and deeply sighed again. Feeling my chest expand, then contract. Matt made his way over to the side of my bed. “I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to.” He made his puppy dog face. I scoffed and punched him in the arm. “Quit that. You’re acting childish.” Once those words came out of my mouth I immediately regretted saying it. I sounded too much like my mom.
“Oh gee, I’m the child?” He challenged. I would have shot back with something clever, if it wasn’t morning. “Yes, you are. Now get out of my room! I’m all ugly and…gross. Give me a little breathing room. It’s morning.” I said pushing him out of my room, no matter how much he resisted. “Come on, you’re brothers boring. I’d much rather hang out with you. All him and Johnny do is sit there, play video games or talk about wrestling or football.” He rolled his eyes and looked at me as a grabbed the door hinge, eyeing him skeptically. “What ever. You always hang out with my brother. You guys are practically brothers.” I attempted to shut the door, but a strong hand clutched it. “Please? Do I really have to go?” Matt pleaded, rather sarcastically, yet, I could see a little seriousness in his facial expressions.
