It had been two days since the meeting in the big house. Only three days left until the fifth quest was to be sent across the world to find the missing demigods. In the meantime all of the necessary travel arrangements were being handled by Chiron while the selected team trained. At first everyone that had been at the meeting had volunteered to go, but Percy assured them that only five would do. Anymore and they would attract too much attention.
After some time of bickering back and forth Percy had to yell at them all to shut up. He reminded them that he was in charge and would be picking the ones he felt could handle the quest. He was of course going as he was the only one who had any knowledge of the dangers that lay ahead. He chose Jason and Thalia to accompany him. They were probably the two most powerful in the camp because of their heritage which made them obvious choices. Annabeth was the smartest one in the group due to her mother. He wasn't entirely sure about her at first, but everyone had vouched for her cunning and strategic planning skills that he was eventually convinced. That left room for one more person to join them, Reyna.
He assumed it would have been a problem to have both leaders of the Roman demigods be absent from the camp, but the rest of the Seven and the other veteran campers were there to take charge while they were gone. Then there was also Chiron who had been running the camp for so many years as it was. Dionysus was merely there because his father didn't know when else to do with him. Percy found him completely useless when it came to anything other than drinking wine.
The last couple days were actually a nice vacation for the young demigod. He had spent some time training in the amphitheater. It had been a while since he had last trained with other people. People that weren't immortal gods or monsters that is. His father and grandfather had more extreme training methods than most. These demigods he was training with were fairly skilled for what they were used to fighting, but were no match for what was to come.
He had spoken to the veteran campers and even trained with a few of them. They showed promise, but he couldn't quite tell if that was going to be enough for them to survive. Reyna seemed to be the only one to show true skill with a blade. He hadn't been able to speak with her since their meeting in the Big House. She was busy running around trying to prepare the Roman demigods. The two camps had been merged, but they were still run separately so as to respect each others traditions.
He wasn't even quite sure how he would even start the conversation. Things were also a tad awkward between them since that weird spark erupted between their blades. Percy didn't know what to make of it and he definitely didn't know how to approach her about it. For now he would focus on the task at hand. He needed to be focused if he was going to figure this out after all.
"Why can't anything be simple?" He muttered as he laid in bed. His cabin had finally been built, perks of magic. It was a simple building and that was honestly the way he liked it. It looked like any other cabin with the exception of it being made out of a stormy grey marble. Two columns held the front of the building upward. Each column had nordic engravings carved into it. A statue of his father wielding his famous hammer, Mjolnir, had been erected on the top of the building. From the outside the place looked like it would only be able to hold a couple of people, but on the inside it was quite large. There were four bedrooms, a fully furnished kitchen and dining room, as well as a complete game room. Needless to say the place was way more than he had intended for it to be.
He wasn't quite sure why there was more than one bedroom. His father had never fathered a child before him. In fact his birth was completely unintentional. The seconds slowly ticked by as he began to fall asleep.

Nothing.
