Stones of life ( oh hold )

Chapter 5

You know those movies, where there's a house, and it's really old and creepy, and the main character go in and find a secret door. We'll I feel just like I'm in one of those movies. "I sure hope it's not a trap." I say out loud as I open the door. Walking in, it's very dark, so I have to wait a little bit for my eyes to adjust. Peering around the room it looks just like any other old abounded house. With old furniture and dust everywhere. after taking in my surroundings, I notice that a door is open. After wondering wether to go in or not. I decide to go. Walking in I see Joey looking at something on the wall. "Hey Joey. Dude what are you looking at?" I ask. Walking up to get a better view, I see it's one of the symbols that was on the book and chest. It was yellow and had a sun like shape on it. "What!? Is this what were suppose it find?" I ask Joey........ Then get no response. Why isn't he answering me? Looking over at Joey I see he has something in his hands. What's that?

"JOEY!!!!! Dude Joey are you there. Earth to Joey.... Joey there's a fire you need to help me!! Joey come on are you even listing to me?" I scream at him. I've been yelling at him for the past hour, and he still hasn't even moved a mussel. Is he even alive? And what's in his hands. It looks like a remote or something. Walking over to him and I grab the remote looking object out of his hand. right after I take it from him he starts screaming. "GRACE! I found something!"

"Oh really? You don't say. Of course you found something. You've been staring at it for an hour!" I scream right in his face.

"What?! No I just picked it up a minuet ago?" He says confused.

"No! You've been staring at it for an hour." I yell at him for being an idiot. 

"That's weird?" He say while looking around the room.

"What's weird?" I ask now confused.

"Well when I came in I pick up this thing 'he says while pointing at the object' and then I hit this button." He says while hitting a red button on the side. And then he freezes, just like he was when I first found him.

"What the heck? It's like it froze him." I say while taking it back from him. And just like last time, he springs right back to life. "I think it froze me." Joey says. No dip sherlock homes. I think, while mentally face Palming myself.

"How is this going to help us find the light stone?" I ask while looking at Joey.

"Did the book say anything about it? " I ask.

"Umm...." He says while zoning out. What the heck is with him today. Did he hit the red button again. Ugh some times I think I'm surrounded by idiots.

"JOEY!!! Pay a tension. Did the book say any thing about the object or not?" I ask, now anger because I wasted my day at this stupid cabin, and also I'm mad because Joey won't answer me.

"Oh.. What? Umm.. I didn't read it that much so I don't know. It's back at home so. We'll have to go get it." he says. then walks out of the room before I could protest.

"Great. Just great, now we have to go all the way home to find out what this stupid thing is." I scream while stomping out the door and then out of the house to Joey, who was sitting in the car. Why does life have to be so hard. I think, as we drive home.
