Chapter 9

" why are you doing this!?" Grace Screamed at the man holding her. Ugh I don't even know what he looks like. Even if I get away I'll never be able to tell the police what he looks like. " why grace, there's no need to yell I'm not going to hurt you." He said stroking her cheek "well not yet at least." Mumbled under his breaths but grace still heard him. " let go of me! Help! Someone help he's going to kill me!" She screamed frantically while struggling to turn around.

Got to get to grace. Ugh were could she be? " help he's going to kill me!" Someone screamed from the side of the building. Grace?! Running toward the voice he turns the corner to see grace up against a wall with a man on top of her. "HEY!" Joey yelled causing the man to turn around, giving grace the room to turn around a get out of his grasp. Running over to Joey grace hugs him while crying on his shoulder. After hugging her Joey turns back to the man. Looking him up and down he looked just like the woman but a guy and he had a big scar from his eye to his mouth. Also like the woman he had blue eyes and black hair. Before Joey could say something the other woman from earlier came up from behind the man.
" well brother, looks like you found the girl" she said looking over to grace

" oh? And if it isn't my little Joey" she said while smirking

"why are you here? And who are you?" Joey said while glaring at them.

"We're here because of you." The guy said starring straight at grace.

" you didn't answer my question! Who are you?" Joey said glaring back at the guy.
"OH! My bad. I'm Sydney and this is Zarek." Sydney said while gesturing to her brother. Who was looking behind graces shoulder. Leaning over to his sister he whispers something into her ear causing her to look to.

Continue this conversation. It seems like we've gathered a crowd and must go. Till we meet again Grace. Joey." Sydney said and before he could stop them they were gone. Glaring at the spot they were just standing Joey couldn't believe they got away. Feeling a tug on his shirt he looks over to see
Grace dragging him away from the building to the car. "Come on Joey we need to get to your house and get the stuff before they do!" She quickly says while trying to get him to the car. Looking back over his shoulder to the spot he gives up and starts walking to the car.

Once at joeys house grace jumps out and runs inside. Saying hello to his mom and then runs upstairs to the attic. After pulling down the stairs she climbs up quickly and looks for the chest. Spotting it where they left it last she runs to it and Opens it. Sighing apon seeing that it's all still there she sits back on the wall and rest her head on her lap. Where have I seen him before? She asks herself while trying to remember. 'Janues? You still there?' Grace asks in her mind.

'Yes grace I'm here. Just been busy trying to figure things out.' Janues say back. After a couple of minuets of silence grace asks 'where have you been?'

'In your head mostly it's not like I could go anywhere' Janues jokes.

' wow no dip sherlock. I mean you were just so quite I though I was going crazy, and talking to voice in my head' grace say. Laying her head back on her knees she goes back to thinking about what happens at the store.

'Your not crazy grace. I was just away doing so research.' Said Janues. 'Oh' was all grace could say before she heard joeys mom calling her.

'Well guess you better go it could be important' Janues says while grace got up and went downstairs
