Chapter 12

"Joey we need to go this way. The Onix is beeping and the rogue is not far behind us." Grace complained as they walked through the forest. It was currently 4:50 and the sun was shining down through the trees making the leaves shine. As the wind blue, you could hear all the animals and the foot steps of Joey and Grace. A howl broke though the peaceful silence, telling the teens the rogue was close. Picking up their past they tried to get to the portal in time, before the beast caught up with them.

Not far behind the the rogue weaved  through trees and jumped over rocks. The smell of the two humans made him hungry, for he hadn't eaten in days. Sure there were thousands of humans around but oddly he wasn't hungry for any of them. Some magical force only made him want these two. It was exactly two weeks ago that he woke up
In a cave, unsure of how he got there. As days went on he cross more land until he found these two humans. Power raydeited off the girl and the boy smelled of witch tho it was only faint. For some reason the rouge didn't know why he was following them. But deep in his gut a felling told him to trust the kids for they would lead him back home. As the sun began to set the rogue got more inpatient. The kids on the other hand got scared. He could smell they were scared but who wouldn't if they had a beast like him following then.

Every little sound made grace jump. As they followed the map it got darker and colder. Another howl broke through the air but this one sounded more frustrated. Picking up her past she could see something in the forest in front of them glowing. As they neared the light a door appeared and the Onix went silent.

'Janues what now?' Grave asked in her head.

'Wait for the rogue to come and opens the door he'll want to go home after seeing the door. Then go in yourself to
Find the stone' said Janues

As the beast neared grace told Joey the plan.

Walking up the the teens the rogue could see a door, tilting his head. The rogue tried to remember where he'd seen this door before... FLASH BACK...

The rogue walked through the forest as a man. As he neared his house a door magically appeared. As he looked through the door a bright light shined causing him to be blinded for a second. Apon seeing this light his wolf went crazy. Taking full control his wolf tried to shift but got stuck half way. As this all happened he did not notice the presents behind him. With out warning he got pushed through the door and every thing went white...END OF FLASH BACK... As it all came back to him the rogue felt something click inside if him. No longer focussing on the teens the wolf walked forward to the door. Before he want in he turned to look at the teens and bowed his head thanking them and the walked through the door.

"Whoa?" Joey said as he looked at the door then back to grace who was talking to Janues in her head.

"Janues said it was ok to go in, now that the rogue is gone." Grace said while looking back to the door.

"Well it's now or never." Joey said as he and took graces hand and laced their fingers together. Looking down at there hands grace smiled then looked back to Joey and gave him a kiss on his cheek. Taking the lead Joey pulled grace along with then as they walked through the door with smiles on their faces.
