♫Putting a Spin on Hey There Delilah- Egg♫

Felix finishes the massage and I sit up, stretching my back much easier than before. I stand up and gently rest my hand on his shoulder, thanking him. "I know you probably don't like physical touch but hopefully one day we'll be close enough to hug." He says, smiling brightly at me. I don't know how to react to his warmth so I nod softly before walking over to Chan in the kitchen. I walk up to the stools on the kitchen island and pull one out, almost sitting down when a knock at the door sounds throughout the house. I turn around and walk to the door, looking out of the peep hole and seeing a man with 2 large folders. I unlock the door and open it, greeting the man and taking the papers before closing the door and heading back to the members. "Chan?" He smiles and states the directions through the house to his office "You can put those in there." I stand there, staring blankly at the man in front of me for as long as it takes to realize that I'm not retaining any of his spewed information. "Ah, you didnt get that did you?" He chuckles embarrassedly and asks Changbin to show me. The boy reluctantly agrees and gestures me to come with him. I walk next to him through the vast hallways when he makes small talk. "We should train together, your a worthy opponent." I laugh and smile, my eyes widen but I conceal it and pretend it didn't happen. "Im not just worthy." Changbin's eyebrow cocks up and he glances at me intriguingly, wordlessly gesturing me to continue. I shake it off and laugh to myself. "You guys don't know the least bit about my past." I say softly, looking at the floor as we walk. Changbin stops walking and I feel his arm graze mine. "Were here." I look up and see two large doors, twisting open the right one as Changbin does the same to the left. I enter the room and see one very large glass desk with two comfortable looking work chairs, a beautiful rug, pin boards, and many windows with electric shades. I ignore the great impression and place the folders on the desk, making sure to lock the door on the way out. Changbin and I start walking back and he talks again. "What do you mean we don't know about your past?" He asks wearily and I sigh. "Thats a question for a group conversation." I dismiss his question and he huffs with slight annoyance. We walk the rest of the way in silence until he speaks again. "It would really be a shame if you continue to be this stand-offish." He states harshly and walls faster, leaving me behind. But we just met? Why did this happen? I ignore my thoughts and find the kitchen, walking up to the fridge and leaning against the wall next to it. "AH!" Han screams and I look down at the floor. "Sorry." I say softly and he waves it off. "Don't worry about it! You scared me thats all!" He dismisses with humor and a smile, I offer a small smile back and he speaks. "Should we go to the table?" I nod and he offers his hand to me. Whats with the hand? I think and tilt my head but rest my own hand in his either way. He smiles and interlocks our hands softly yet with security. We walk to the table and he pulls the chair out for me to sit, I smile softly and sit down with him next to me. The members stare at us and my anxiety starts to rise. "What?" I ask as with almost a scared tone. No one answers and just as I'm about to re-ask my previous question Hyunjin blurts out. "You have an invite to join Straykids." He states with a serious yet exited tone and I look at Chan as my hands start to become clamy. "Dont worry." Han reassures in a whisper tone, causing me to calm down somewhat until I look back at Changbin and receive a glare, pissing me off to a great extent. I stand up and slam my empty hand on the table. "Why are you glaring at me?" I ask with gritted teeth and ears that are slowly turning red and he stands up, slamming his hands on the table as well. "Its not my fault that you dont like me!" I furrow my eye brows and Han stands up, placing one hand on my back while his other hand is rubbing comfortingly. "Who the fuck said I didn't like you!?" I yell back and he walks closer to me with hard and angry steps. "No one, you basically told me yourself!" I let go of Han's hand and Squeeze my finger nails into my palm. "When the fuck was that ever implied?" I ask slowly, displaying my harsh anger when a drop of water is heard on the floor. "Nyx." Han says but I barely hear him, focused on my glare at Changbin. "Nyx!" Han yells once more and Changbin's gaze softens becomin one thats concerned and scared. Seeing his expression change I break out of my glare at look at Han, who has a very worried expression. "Your bleeding." His words bring my attention to the intense stinging in my palm. I raise my hand and see blood dripping from where my finger nails were to all around my hand, I look to the floor to discover the dropping sound was my blood hitting the floor. I look up at Han's concerned face and I blank. "What do I do?" I ask him, almost whispering. He tries to speak but nothing comes out. The sound of a chair scraping the floor echoes through the house but I'm unable to look away from Han's fixated look on my hand. "Nyx.." Chan softly cooes from behind me, turning me around to face him. "Its ok." He says softly and my eyes feel hot. Chan snakes his arms around my waist and pulls me into a warm hug, leaning down and resting his head on my shoulder. "Why do my eyes feel hot?" I ask with an almost inaudible tone and he softly chuckles. "You're crying." Am I? No. I cant be. The thoughts linger in my mind but I'm broken out by the sounds of my own sniffles. "Don't worry, I'm here, yeah?" I nod at his words but continue sniffling. He holds me closer, taking my injured hand in his and breaking out of the hug, kissing my injured hand. "Lets get you to the infirmary, hm?" He smiles at me softly and I nod, wrapping my non injured arm across his back, scrunching up a piece of his shirt to have a better hold.
