2 weeks passed since eda had been heart broken. Show she sits on the couch watching hallmar channel.. Well.. More of listening to it. She was laying down on her couch face planted. Eda had to accept the fact Raine didn't love her, and that she would be there to support them.
Suddenly eda heard her doorbell ring, and sighed. She then wiped her face, and made sure her eyes weren't red. When she opened the door, you can imagine her frustration when she saw her sister AND mother. "God damnit.. " eda mumbled. "Watch your mouth edalyn dear.. May we come in?" Gwen asked, as she walked in anyway. "Um.. Okay, whats up mom?" Eda asked. "We just wanted to come check on you" Gwen answered. "We?.. " eda asked. "MY BABY IS HEART BROKEN" Dell wailed then clung to eda rubbing her face. "Dad, I'm fine.. " eda said being very annoyed. "Oh.. Edalyn your in another ice cream depression" Gwen said, eda then glared at her sister who waved nervously. Then pushed her dad off. "What part.. Of DO NOT tell them! Did you not understand!?" Eda sked yelling at her sister. "It-it slipped! I didn't mean to they asked me how you were and-.. " Lilith was cut off. "THEN LIEE! HOW ARE YOU A LAWYER BUT CAN NOT LIE!?" Eda questioned. "I'm sorry! I tried to talk them out of it! It just slipped out" Lilith said. "I'mma slip my foot up your-" eda was cut off by her father dragging out, eda's shrine of Raine. It was just pictures of them together, some with wedding clothes on. And hearts drawn all over it. "OUR POOR BABY HAD A SHRINEEEE!" Dell wailed again. "Can-cant we not.. Talk about the shrine.. " eda asked, while blushing. "I'M GOING TO KILL THEM!" Dell yelled grabbing a shot gun. "DAD NO!" eda yelled. "I just wanna talk, I just wanna talkxi just wanna talk to them" Dell said as eda followed him. "Dad no!" Eda argued. "I just wanna talk, I just wanna talk, I just wanna talk" Dell said, as he loaded his gun. "Dad no!! No! No! You can't force them to be with me!" Eda said as they got ready to approach the door. "I just wanna talk. I just want to shoot them.. Im just gonna shoot them" Dell knocked on the door, and before it opened, eda pushed him into the bushes. A female opened the door. Light, long brown hair, bright green eyes, and honestly, dresses as if she came from a rich family. "Um.. Who the hell are you?" She asked, eda looked nurvous. "Oh.. Um I'm.. Just herre to see my friend Raine.. " eda said.
Shes pretty.. Very pretty in fact. Of course Raine fell in love with her.. She must be so kind to..
The female rolled her eyes. "Rae-rae! Some girl is here to see you!" She yelled. Eda held her breath right as Raine came out. "Hey calamity, I didn't expect to see you today" Raine said with a smile. "Hey.. I um.. Wanted to.. Surprise you!" Eda lied. "Oh that's awesome! Come in eda" Raine said. Eda reluctantly walked in, she honestly didn't want to see Raine being all lovey to someone else, but she kept her head up and a forced brave smile.. And went through with it. "Eda, this is my girlfriend Stephenie, steph, this is my best friend, eda" they said.
Breathe.. Just breathe..
"Nice to meet you" eda said with the same forced smile. "Mhm.. Rae-rae, I need to go do something real fast" she said, then kissed them on the cheek, and walked away. Eda watched this, and was ready to let the ground swallow her whole. "Shes.. Quite the catch.. " eda muttered nervously. "Thanks eda! Shes just wonderful" Raine gushed, as they blushed. Eda felt tears coming up, and luckily her phone went off. Eda had random alarms to sound like her ringtone. Eda pretended to check her phone so she could get away. "Damn.. Sorry rainestorm.. Darius needs my help" she lied. "Oh alright! Tell him I said hi." Raine said as eda left.
When she walked out, she saw her sister and mother getting her father in the car, and taking his gun away. "Oh! Edalyn, dear.. Are you alright?" Gwen asked. "Y-yeah.. I'm fine, I'm just going to go home and rest.. I'm tired" she said, and went home. Eda took her hair down, took a shower, and crawled into bed. This was the day eda began to try to m9ve on with her life. Raine didn't live her, and that was something he now had to accept.
Many months later, eda had somewhat gotten better. She still loved Raine with all her heart, but she gave up on any hopes, dreams and desires she had for them. Eda focuses on moving on and helping Raine. She supported them through their relationship, she'd help them anytime they asked. She kept a smile, and burried her feelings down. Eda never tried to date anyone else. Of course Lilith and Darius checked on her, but eda always insisted she was okay. However, no matter what, eda was always there for Raine. She never let them see that them dating bothered her.
While eda was walking home from work one day, Raine called her, eda smiled slightly as she saw it was them.
"Hey Raine, whats up?"
"Hey calamity! It's been awhile since we all met up, so I wanted to invite you to the park with our friends"
"Oh that sounds like fun.."
"Yep! Lilith, Darius, and alador are coming, and I'm bringing Steph"
"Y-yeah!.. Il think about it, when exactly?"
"Tomorrow at 4"
"Alright.. Catch you later"
The next day at the park, Lilith Darius and alador were talking while Raine e was if course with Stephenie. "Is edalyn coming?" Alador asked. "I-im not counting on it.." Lilith said, obviously worried about eda. "Yeah, she won't say it.. But shes still not over Raine" Darius added. Such was true. "If she does come.. It would be extremely difficult for her" Lilith said. "Id be surprised if she even showed up" alador said. Raight then, eda snuck up behind Lilith and roughly grabbed her shoulder making Lilith scream and jump turning around. Eda of course was laughing, and Darius was snickering while alador was looking at a butterfly. "EDALYN!! YOU SCARED ME!!" Lilith screamed. "Calm down! Calm down!" Eda said, as she started to compose herself. Only for Raine to come up and hug her. "I'm so glad you could make it calamity!" They said happily. Eda blushed, heavily and hugged back, then edged her way over to her sister. "Nice to see you again edalyn" Stephenie said. "Yeah.. You to" eda said, keeping a smile.
After a while they were all hanging out, talking as normal. Stephenie was out of place but decided to talk anyway. "So edalyn.. Your not in a relationship?" She asked. Eda froze, trying to compose an answer. "Um.. Nope! Just uh.. Haven't found the right person" eda lied, she was a good liar, so if Lilith and Darius didn't know the situation, they would have believed her. "I'm sure you'll find someone" Stephenie said, but Darius could sense a fake tone in her voice. Stephenie then proceeded to kiss Raine on the lips, and eda glanced at the grass under her. It pained eda to watch such a sight, and so she felt herself tear up.
