The closer you got, the more you could sense the presence of people inside, so you jumped silently onto the roof of the house. Once you had done so, you stood up and headed for where you remembered Kocho Kanae's room to be. But then you heard the conversation directly in your ears
"-People usually sleep at this hour, didn't you know?" you snapped to yourself, but decided to listen their quiet conversation anyway."-...I am so sorry about Tsuyuri-sama, though. Such a beautiful young girl, and yet all the time last month looks so sad, so lifeless. I heard that's all because of death of Kamado Tanjiro."
"-Oh, you even don't say.
Kocho-sama already doesn't know how to comfort her. But I do understand though. If it's true, then to lose a lover to whom she never had time to declare...""-Anyways I am sure she'll feel better soon. She's still young, she'll definitely find her love again.
By the way, have you heard..."You continued to walk on the roof, a smile spreading on your face
"-Oh...So you even had a betrothed, you little brat? What a shame..." you giggled to yourself.Although the Butterfly estate is pretty large building, you quickly reached the place you were looking for and climbed down from the roof on ground.
Getting to your feet, you walked up the familiar porch, getting closer and closer to the room you were looking for.
You cautiously entered the open window and jumped to the floor.
"-Where is the table, where is that table?" You thought as you looked around the room. You assumed that table you remembered was where all the valuable papers were supposed to be kept.
But then you turned your eyes to the corner of the room and froze. Where the table used to be, there was a futon where a girl was sleeping.
She was beautiful, you needed to admit, with dark hair and bangs. She even looked like if she was a sister of Flower pillar.
But not Kocho Shinobu, no.
Younger. She must be her tsuguko, you thought. The one these two women on the porch were talking about. You smiled at this.
But after a second, you quickly composed yourself. You didn't have time for that: your main task was to find the records of the Flower Pillars and get out of here. And then you breathed a sigh of relief- there was a table right next to the futon. It was the same as the one you had seen back then.
You immediately walked over to it and quietly opened the nightstands.
As quietly as possible, you saw many things: papers, jewelry, coins, everything.
But you were not interested in anything other than what he told you to bring him.And now there was only the last, lowest box left. You opened it, and quickly ran your eyes through it. Nothing.
Nothing you needed. You were about to close the drawer, but then you noticed that it seemed to be less deep than the others. At first you didn't think you were imagining things. But you sighed and decided to check it out.
You tried to pull out the bottom of the drawer
and... yes. It was double."-That was very thoughtful, Kocho Kanae. But not too much." you smiled.
As you reached the bottom as quietly as possible, your face lightened. Underneath was exactly what you were looking for.
Not that thick stack of papers, on which you could clearly see a note"The Flower Pillar"
You stood up, and after flipping through a few pages, you realized that this was indeed what you were looking for.
"-Finally" you smiled to yourself.
So you quickly shoved the other bottom into the drawer and pushed it in, but... to your unfortunate surprise, you did it too loudly.
So when you were already near a window, wanting to get out and run through the woods when you were suddenly called by a girl's voice
"-Halt! Who are you, and what you're doing here?"
