For a few moments, the room was almost completely silent. Only the soft creaking of the fire in the fireplace and Y/n's intermittent breathing could be heard, her head touching the floor as she did, her heart beating frantically as she waited for an answer. And then Muzan Kibutsuji kept looking at her, or at the demon girl she had brought, with slightly dilated eyes, unperturbed.

He could not quite believe his eyes.

Could it be that someone from the Upper Moons had really track down Nezuko, the only demon who had crossed the sun, in just one night?

And the youngest of them all actually-
Upper Six?

Surprising indeed, he thought, keeping his eyes on the two.

Y/n had only become a Upper Moon a few months ago, but she had already done more good for him than all the other Upper Moons combined in those few months. He blinked his crimson red eyes once more.

Yes, it was indeed Y/n who had done this. Right now, she was kneeling in front of him, her head and hands touching the floor as she waited for his answer.
A small smile spread across Kibutsuji's face.

(Y/n's POV:)
A thousand thoughts swarmed through my mind as I stared at the wooden floor, not daring to look up without being ordered.
But still my words went unanswered, making me hear the pulse in my own ears.

"-Did I do something wrong? Did I...?"

"-Great, Y/n." I heard his voice say sharply, and I immediately lifted my head off the ground, looking up at him.
"-I didn't expect you to be the one to accomplish it. You did great."

And then I felt his large hand touch my cheek, his thumb gently stroking it, and I felt a thousand shivers run down my spine.

Oh, his touch...

It always made me feel as if nothing in the world could be better than the way his hand gently slid from my cheek to my neck, the way I felt warmth spread through my body, and I kept looking into his calm crimson red eyes.

Then he turned to window, and quickly released my cheek, making me feel as if something had fallen slightly, slightly in my chest.

He he looked in window, watching intently at something in it, as his expression slowly took on a different color.
What is it?

But then I turned my eyes to what he was gazing at through the window, and I realised why he was frozen without saying a word: there was already a single ray of sunlight breaking through the dense trees, which meant that dawn would be coming in less than a minute.

And there were still no other Upper Moons.

Muzan had been collecting his thoughts for a while, and then he snapped his fingers and the curtains were drawn so that the sun would not enter the room.

Then a wave of realisation came over me, and my eyes involuntarily widened as I heard my own pulse:

It was already dawn, and all the other Upper Moons were still out.

(No one's POV:)

Suddenly, you heard several loud thuds, one after the other, as if something heavy had fallen to the floor, causing you to turn in its direction.

And then the door was thrown wide open, and...

Akaza flew into the room, falling to his knees, his head touching the floor, without even looking around.

You were about to say something, but then...

A few seconds later, Douma came in the same way.

Then in a moment Daki and Gyutaro...
