(Y/n's POV:)
"-Daki!" I whirled into the room, pouncing on her, who looked like she as well had just walked into her room.

"-Hi, Y/n" she replied, hugging me back.

"-Did you just get here?" I asked.
I was wondering how long ago she had gotten here, because the sun was definitely already up.

"-Yes, I just got back from my mission. To be honest It turned out pretty difficult that I was already afraid I wouldn't make it before dawn!" she laughed.

"-How are things in the Red Light District?" I said to Daki letting go of her and landing me first on her big soft futon covered with silky y/c blankets.

"-I'm fine. How are you?"

"I'm fine, too."

And then Daki thought for a second, turning to the curtained window.

"-Do you hear that, Y/n?" she turned her gaze back to me, and a smile lit up her face.

I listened, and suddenly I heard... something dripping outside the window?

"-It's raining!" I said happily, getting out of futon and going to the window. Of course, I didn't have to worry about the sun, because in the rain it is firmly obscured by clouds.

As I got closer, I opened the window and saw a beautiful picture: it was pouring down like a bucket, thunder was heard and lightning was visible.
I opened the window wide, breathing in the fresh smell of forest rain.

"-I love the rain."

Daki chuckled in response

"-I love it too."
Then she pursed her lips and tapped them with her index finger. She seemed to have something on her mind. A moment later, her finger flew up.

"-Y/n, I have an idea!" she said to me, and her eyes lit up.

"-Ans what it is?" I smiled teasingly.

"-Let's go swimming in the pond outside!"

I stammered.
"-But it's raining!" I thought to myself.
She seemed to notice my confusion and added enthusiastically

"-I've always wondered what it would be like to swim in the rain. Besides, what else can we do in a thunderstorm day? I think this is the best thing we can do in the rain! And it's warm outside by the way!"

At first I didn't know what to say to Daki.
The single idea of going outside in the daytime seemed crazy to me, and then she suggested we go swimming in a lotus pond in a thunderstorm? She was right, you can't think of anything more unusual and interesting to do on a day like this.
So, after minute of hesitation I smiled into her shining green eyes

"-I'm in."

(No one's POV:)

Ten minutes later, the two of you were standing in front of a pond with lotuses growing beautifully on the edges of it, in the
in the rain, dressed in bathing clothes.

"-Are you sure the water isn't cold?" you said hesitantly, looking at the water with droplets dripping from the sky.

"-We'll see!" said Daki enthusiastically.

And before you could think, a splash of water flew at your already wet body.
In a second, her head and neck were out of the water.

"-Come in, it's warm!" she said encouragingly.

You reluctantly put one foot in the pond, and ... to your surprise, it turned out warm indeed.
So you threw off your thin kimono and climbed into the water completely.

"-Told you so!" said Daki, smile spreading even wider all over her pale face.

"-Mmh..." you purred in agreement, raising your hands to brush your long y/c hair out of your face- as light rain poured down from above, it kept trying to get in your eyes.

And before you could even remove a single hair from your face, you felt yourself being thrown right into the water. All you could still hear from above was the familiar laughter muffled by water. As soon as you managed to get out, you caught your breath

"-Daki!" you whined, outraged at what she had done.

But she didn't seem to take you seriously, continuing to giggle carefree.
Probably because you were demons anyway, so nothing could happen to you. But this attitude of hers angered you even more. So you didn't think twice about returning the favor, throwing the black-haired girl into the water, as muffled laughter of hers escaped from water.

"-They two are crazy." said Akaza, stepping away from the window and tiredly plopping down on the futon next to it.

"-Having fun at least!" not loudly came the reply in a deep voice. Kokushibo stared out the window of his room overlooking the lotus pond, watching Upper Six and Upper Five, like little children, splashing around in the water under rain and thunderstorm.
He even wondered for a moment whose idea it was.
Then Akaza's voice came again

"-How come Douma is not with them yet? He's usually the first to go in such cases."

Kokushibo just hummed back in agreement, gazing deep into the rain forest outside the window.

"-And by the way, where is even he?"
