(Y/n's POV:)

My cheeks flushed again, and I sped up my run through the night coniferous forest, a smile spreading all over my face.

The only thing that was going through my mind was that I would be the one to bring demon girl to him tonight.

Me, and no one else.

The clear certainty of this propelled me forward as I looked up, gazing into the cloudless clear sky, the bright moon hanging in it, lighting my way as I ran further and further into the dense forest.

Minute after minute, hour after hour passed as I kept running without stopping.

I ran through more than a dozen villages, and not two, and not five, but in all of them there was nothing.
Nothing of what I needed.

I knew with all my mind that I had to find the demon girl as soon as possible and bring her to him, but...

Where could I find this demon girl? I had absolutely no idea.

A pink patterned kimono with a green sash? With a tie on her hair?

That's all he said about her.
But there are thousands of girls like that all over Japan, I thought to myself, still staring at the way in front of me. For mere human, the impassable coniferous forest, which for me was a simple path.

Then my eyes returned, and I noticed that a mountain river was on my way, and I smiled, looking up at the moon again

"-You were the one who helped me last time, remember? If it wasn't for your enchanting light reflecting in the mountain river, I wouldn't have stopped and I wouldn't have seen Rengoku Senjuro." I thought, a smile reappearing on my face as I looked at the glitter of the river, which had disappeared from my sight in a moment.
I looked up again, gazing at the shining moon

"-My friend, perhaps you will show me the way again?" I sighed to myself, looking at the mesmerizing light from above.

The moon was incredible. I stared at it for a minute, forgetting even where I was running, and then I stopped abruptly, almost running into a large tree.

I didn't know why, but I decided to climb to the top of the tree to get a better look at it.

Of course, I didn't think about giving up, I knew I had to bring the demon girl alive to him as soon as possible, but so many hours of running around, even for me, Upper Moon Six, still took their toll.

Climbing up a tall tree, I surveyed the landscape around me: a vast forest below, connecting to the sky in the distance, and a small village not far away in the forest.

Everything felt so... peaceful.

I looked up at the sky: In a few days, the moon would be in full phase, so almost the entire, usually dark, forest was now flooded with light. The moon always seemed incredible to me.

As a human, I could stare at it for hours with the stars, admiring its incomparable beauty. But as a demon, although I now spent all my waking hours in its light, I didn't have as much time to gaze at it. Being one of the Demons of the Twelve Moons, the Twelve Kizuki, and even more so Upper Moon was the reason for that.

But now I had the opportunity, so why not, I thought, as I stared at the magnificent light.

Suddenly, the wind blew, and I took a deep breath, preparing to smell the pine needles with my whole body, and then I froze, my eyes widening.

"-Is it..."

As in moment I abandoned my plan to look up at the night sky and ran to a nearby village.

It was because I smelled something. The same smell that I had caught a glimpse of on Kamado when I fought him that night. Or rather, when I killed him.

At the time, I thought it was just the smell of a demon he had fought before me, although it was somehow similar to his smell, but then everything fell into place.

It was the scent of his demon sister: Nezuko.

The demon girl I had been searching for so passionately for hours, to no avail, was now that close...

(Yushiro's POV:)

I had already finished putting away the books I was supposed to do this with, and finally exhaled as I walked over to Nezuko, who was sitting on the tatami floor nearby, just playing with the bow Tamayo-sama had given her. I plopped down on the floor next to her.

"-Huh..."

That night, I was quite tired. That's because after Nezuko defeated the sun, Tamayo-sama had a lot of work to do. She was working tirelessly on the demon blood samples that Kamado Tanjiro brought her when he was still alive, and on Nezuko's blood samples, and I helped her by bringing her the books she needed.

But it was going to be dawn soon, so we were almost done. Then I looked through the open door of the shoji, through which the moonlight was entering the room.

"-The moon is really beautiful tonight, isn't it, Nezuko?"

I said to the black-haired demon girl as she kept playing with that bow like a kitten.

"-I still can't believe you beat the sun."

I looked up again at the moon and the stars above. It was a beautiful view: not a cloud in sight, and I could see everything from the horizon to the distance.

Then a cool wind blew into the room, and I closed my eyes for a second, breathing it in...

And then I heard the sound of someone flying into the room, mixed with a strong demon smell, and I heard a quiet, disgruntled squeak.

Immediately I opened my eyes, and was about to move, but it was too late - the owner of that smell was already in the shoji door, jumping out with Nezuko in arms, running away incredibly fast.

I gritted my teeth. The demon, a girl from what I could see, was too fast for me to chase after.

"-Has Nezuko just been stolen? But...who? Why?" a thousand thoughts swarmed through my mind as I watched her disappear, disappearing more and more with each passing moment.

Then my eyes widened.

"Upper Moon Six"

That's what I managed to see in the demon's eyes before they completely disappeared into the dark forest after the end of the village.

"-It is... but..."

And then I finally came to my senses and shouted

"-Tamayo-sama!! Nezuko has been stolen!! One of the Upper Moons was here!!!"

(No one's POV:)

Kibutsuji sat in his armchair, staring at the crackling fireplace and occasionally glancing out the window.
In less than an hour, it would be sunrise.

Who of the Upper Moons would be the first to give him demon girl, who overcame sun?

Even he was curious to know.

Muzan turned his gaze back to the fire, which crackled softly, filling the room with warmth, and for a second he even closed his eyes, as if falling into a sweet slumber...

And then he almost jumped up, as door to his large room abruptly swung open without a knock.

Y/n, Upper Moon Six, stood there breathing heavily. She was all covered in scratches, her beautiful clothes were torn, but had barely visible smile on her face and one hand was holding the unconscious demon girl in pink patterned kimono.

Then Y/n dropped her from her arms, bowing, as she spoke, trying to steady her now ragged breathing as her head and hands reached the floor

"-Muzan-sama, I... brought her... to you..."
