"You motherfucking piece of shit," a man who called himself Yeona's father said to his daughter. "You're so useless. You can't even clean up after me!"

Yeona shrunk backwards under her father's angry and drunken gaze. "That's not what I—"

"You fucking disobeyed me! You said you wouldn't clean up after me!"

If anyone was in her position, they would have said the same thing. There was a dried-up white liquid stuck to the carpet, and there were shattered beer bottles on the ground. Not to mention strewn clothes everywhere and the sleeping (or unconscious) naked woman on the couch.

Before Yeona could say anything, she felt her cheek sting as her father's hand made contact with it. She felt tears threatening to spill before she ran out of her own house, running through the streets aimlessly.

Meanwhile, Felix was getting ice cream with his sisters, Rachael and Olivia. The two were quite happy with their brother, since he had decided that the three of them should have some bonding time together and insisted on paying.

He was taken aback when he saw someone who looked very similar to Yeona run pass the ice cream parlour, and from what he could recall from the glimpse he had gotten of her face, she was crying.

"Hey, Rachael? Olivia?" Felix started nervously, hoping that his sisters wouldn't hate him forever. "My friend is going through a tough time right now and I feel like I should be there for her..."

Immediately, Olivia jumped up and asked, "It's the one you bring granola bars for, isn't it?"

Before Felix could respond, his other sister spoke up curiously. "Felix has a friend? And it's a girl?"

Felix groaned, annoyed. "Guys," he whined. "It's not that big of a deal."

His sisters giggled before agreeing to his original statement. "I think you should go, then," Rachael told him. "If she needs someone, and you're that someone, you should go."

The boy stood up and gave both of his sisters a hug before saying, "You guys can have the rest of my sundae if you want. It'll probably melt by the time I'm back."

Olivia grinned like the small child she was. "Bye, Lixxie!"

"Bye-bye!"
