As Felix ran hopelessly through the almost-empty streets, he only thought of one thing. Yeona. Was she okay? What had happened to her? And most importantly, he needed to know who was hurting her.

The sun started setting, and eventually, Felix realized he had been wandering for almost an hour. He was just about to quit when he heard soft sobbing from behind the other side of the library stairs. He carefully walked closer and around them, only to find the girl he had been looking for.

Yeona.

He immediately fell to his knees and gave her the biggest hug he could muster. "It's okay to cry," he whispered softly, stroking her hair as she broke down in his arms. "I'm here now."

After what seemed like an eternity, Yeona broke away from his hug, wiping away the remaining tears on her face. "Why are you here?" She asked ruefully, glancing at Felix.

"I saw you run by," he told her truthfully. "And I had to come check on you."

"What's the point?" She asked sadly, looking upwards at the sky that was painted with the vibrant colours of a sunset. "I could literally just disappear and no one would care."

Felix shook his head. "A lot of people would care, Yeona. Don't think like that."

"Then how else should I think?" She asked rhetorically, not expecting an answer.

But Felix always has an answer. "Look on the bright side," he said. "There's always a silver lining."

Yeona closed her eyes, tears leaking out of the corners. "No, there isn't, Lixxie. Not right now."

Felix's heart shattered when he heard the way she said his name. Lixxie. As though he were the most precious thing in the world, balanced perfectly on a scale made of glass. Her voice was fragile with sadness and Felix couldn't bear to think what he would do without her.

He hugged her once again, wrapping his arms around her comfortably. "When you can't look on the bright side, Yeona," he started, his voice muffled by her hair. "I will sit with you in the dark."
