After the day Yeona and Felix cried together beside the library stairs, Felix was noticing that Yeona seemed to be getting better. She was less often in her own world; the two had many conversations these days, and sometimes, she would even say "hi" to their other classmates.

She temporarily moved out of her father's house and had asked Felix to stay with him; something that Felix's parents happily accepted. They, too, knew that Yeona was going through some tough times, and they were happy that they could help. Yeona stayed in Felix's room while the boy slept on the couch downstairs. Although she hadn't been happy about it, Felix insisted that he couldn't let his guest stay downstairs, so in the end, she agreed.

It was also not uncommon to see Yeona without her earbuds these days. When Felix had first asked about this, she had told him, "I want to be able to look at the world peacefully one last time."

Felix didn't quite understand what she meant by that. One last time? He had repeated in his head. What's that supposed to mean? But he didn't ask, not wanting to shatter her delicate bubble of happiness.

What Felix didn't know was that Yeona was not happy. She was not getting better, although she was certain that once she died, things would be much better, both for her and Felix. She would finally have peace, and Felix would finally talk to others and make the friends he deserves because Yeona didn't believe that she was worthy of being the sunshine's friend.

Yes, that was her plan. She was going to end her own life.

She made the choice the day she ran away from home. She knew that she was still underage; one day, she would have to return to her father and face his wrath. The face Yeona saw it, it was easier to simply end her life on a good note, with Felix and his family by her side.

The only thing was, she wasn't sure when she was going to go through with it.

She didn't want to tell Felix, because she knew that he would try to talk her out of it, but she didn't want to get talked out of it. Getting talked out of it meant getting professional help, and she couldn't do that without her father being informed.

Yeona had made her choice.

Soon, she would leave this world and enter whichever one came after.
