Godzilla Raids Again

Prologue

"Sir, do we have the okay from the President?" A soldier asked as he prepared to twist a key into it's keyhole.

"Yes, prepare to test our bomb" the Colonel said as he twisted his key to prepare to fire some sort of weapon. Ahead of them was a window, revealing a massive expanse of ocean, and in it was a group of island like formations, that each had small rough mountains. A massive upward facing cannon was built into the bombing bay, as the soldiers rushed to make sure they did their jobs correctly.

"We should wait for the beast to be confirmed dead sir!" The soldier said as the colonel was leaving.

"Why bother, ain't nothing surviving this bomb blast. Not even a super lizard." The colonel said as he got Into a Helicopter that began to take off, and saluted the soldier. "It's up to you, don't let your country down. Kill the beast!"

"Yes sir!" The soldier said with pride before turning back to the building and getting ready to press a large red button.

"Five!" Chimed in a loud robotic voice as he prepared to fire the weapon.

"Four!" The voice chimed once again as he looked to see the spikes behind to move.

"Three!" the Soldier began to panic and looked to the button and then back to the spikes.

"Two!" The soldier pressed the button, and then the cannon attachment fired a massive bomb with a lizard head crossed out painted on the sides.

"One!" The bomb exploded on the spikes, causing a massive cloud of ash, and the skies turned red orange and yellow, and then the blast reached the building in a loud boom! The trees shook, tents flew away, waves went crazy, then everything turned ash grey.
