Godzilla Raids Again

Part 13

Dr. Serizawa walked into the empty city, military helicopters flew high above, and Jet engines roared as squadrons flew high above. In the distance Serizawa could see a giant Purple, Green, and Grey creature, it was Megaguirus, and she was accompanied by a swarm of Meganula. The image created the idea of an apocalyptic eclipse, hundreds of locust like creatures covering the light from the sun, and draining life from wherever they went.

"I've got to stop Kane." Dr. Serizawa said as he entered the large Steel Building, it had an Apex logo on it. As Serizawa entered the building, he could see the Apex soldiers rushing about, preparing for their mission.

"Halt!" One soldier shouted, and Serizawa stopped "what are you doing here?!"

"I'm just looking for my friend Colonel Kane." Dr. Serizawa said as the soldier looked at Serizawa.

"The Colonel ain't seeing anybody." The soldier said as a tank was driven out of the Apex Facility.

"Why not, I have got urgent business to discuss with him?" Dr. Serizawa said, but the soldier didn't budge.

"Don't care, you're not getting past me." The soldier said, when suddenly there was a shout from the outside, and the soldiers opened fire, and a loud roar was heard, causing everyone to cover their ears, and Serizawa took the opportunity to run for it.

"Hey! Get back here!" The soldier shouted as he rushed after Dr. Serizawa.

Meanwhile ...

Godzilla roared as he stomped further inland, and soldiers and jets fired barrages of fire. Godzilla then began to glow, his nose releasing Nuclear flames, and then he opened his mouth and out came his Atomic Breath attack, burning the ground, and exploding some houses, and small shops. Godzilla then used his tail to crush a group of soldiers firing sniper rifles at his head. Godzilla then roared as the swarm of Meganula began to cover the city, making a dreadful ringing sound resonate throughout the city. Godzilla then looked up, and there blocking the sun was Megaguirus, the Ferocious Lifeform.

Megaguirus screeched as she crashed into Godzilla, and drove her stinger right into Godzilla's ribs. Godzilla roared in pain as Megaguirus began to glow a little. Megaguirus then took her stinger out, and flew up away from Godzilla and shrieked before pointing her sharp stingers at Godzilla who seemed disoriented from the drain of energy, and then in a deadly flash, Godzilla was blown back by a devastating blast of gold energy.

Megaguirus then shrieked as the large Meganula began to spread all over the city, blotting out the sun and taking down the aircraft.

"Fire!" The soldiers shouted as they pointed their rifles up, and began to shoot at the Meganula causing gallons of green blood to fall alongside the crippled Meganula. Suddenly A Meganula looked to the source of the attack and dove, crashing into one of the soldiers, killing him with a menacing snap.

Megaguirus then shrieked as the soldiers rushed to get to safety but the Meganula kept flying from above, killing them in a matter of seconds.

Meanwhile...

"Kane!" Dr. Serizawa shouted as he rushed into the Colonels' quarters.

"Hello Dr." Colonel Kane said as he turned to look at Dr. Serizawa who glared at Colonel Kane who was watching the destruction.

"You could save your men if you focused your fire on Megaguirus!" Dr. Serizawa shouted as Colonel Kane frowned.

"You always were a softy since Kong." Colonel Kane said as he stepped towards Dr. Serizawa "Oh, and ... How did you get past the guard?"
