Naruto Uzumaki-Namikaze, The Prodigy

Chapter 1 - 5 to 10 years old

The Village Hidden in the Leaves, Konoha, we begin our story where we see a young boy of 5 years running from a mob of villagers set on causing him harm, if only they knew who he really was, if only he knew he was but for now he is Naruto Uzumaki and he is on the run for his life on October 10th, his birthday, which is dubbed the Kyubbi festival. Naruto is naturally gifted with speed, his body, reactions and thinking are very fast, ever since he could walk he knew he was gifted with speed but would practice to improve his speed in all areas but his small body was still developing and
Sometimes he just wasnt fast enough to get away from the people that wanted to cause him harm, if he is ever caught he would be beaten near death and fucked up beyond all recognition, but his body would always heal by itself. Naruto knew this wasnt a skill one had so he began reading and came to the conclusion isn't that he was the Jinchurriki(holders of power) of the Kyubbi(nine-tailed fox demon) and he knew that this was why they hated him, they lost their families to the nine-tails on the day he was born and even though he knew that he wasn't the Kyubbi it still hurt that they believed he was. It also made him angry that the villagers couldn't tell the difference between a kunai(knife) and its holster but he left it alone for now because it wouldnt matter if he got upset or angry anyway. What Naruto couldn't understand or figure out was why the Yondaime (Fourth) Hokage would choose him, he couldn't figure it out but would always just figure it was because he was the closest baby nearby and just accepted that was case. Naruto now had to focus on getting away, he didn't want to be on deaths door today and he knew the anbu(elite ninja) assigned today hated him, he only had two anbu that liked him and actually gave off the feeling of love, sympathy, and protectiveness towards him, he only knew them from their masks, which were a weasel and dog but they weren't here today and the way the other two anbu looked at him was not good. Naruto continued to run, he also found that he was a very skilled strategists, even better than the famed Nara clan and he also had a photographic memory and knew the Village very well but he was still worried about the anbu because they were tricky and could catch him. But he knew he couldn't worry about them and just continued running and turning corners until he lost the mob but then his fears came to life, his hairs stood up on the back of his neck and when both anbu showed there masked faces in front of him, he knew he was fucked but he chose to fight and try to escape, he went to elbow the one in front of him but the Anbu caught his elbow and then kicked him in the side, sending him flying through a shop building and coming out right next to the mob, he was dazed from the hit but his mind was yelling danger and get the hell up but before he could get up and either fight or run he was kicked in the face by the other anbu and it was sending him straight into the mob that was looking for him, he knew this was really bad but there was nothing he could do now. He caught the two anbu calling him a demon and a monster and he was honestly used to it but it hurt that he was treated so badly but now his mind was racing and he was scared, the mob tied him up and started running to the edge of town where the torture would begin. Meanwhile, the Sandaime (Third) Hokage was worried, he Sent two anbu, two that he thought were uninfluinced by the council, he dispatched them to bring Naruto to him so he could protect him today of all days, he knew they didn't like it but he was sure they wouldn't disobey a direct order from him, he was ashamed of himself when he Sent Itachi and Kakashi on a mission yesterday and completely forgot what today was and now it made sense why they were angry with him when he sent them on the mission.

*Flashback to yesterday
Dog and Weasel stood before their hokage waiting for their mission to protect naruto but then Hiruzen said something that shocked them both, they had a mission to kill a group of nine rogue ninja and they were now getting pissed, they were about to protest that tomorrow was naruto's birthday, and are you crazy hokage-sama, their chakra was radiating with anger, when hiruzen felt the anger in their Chakra he was confused, he didn't know why they were so upset but just thought they wanted to look after naruto like usual so he put up his hand up before they could say anything and said he needed them to complete this time sensitive mission so they both agreed with him and disappeared. The two ninja were in agreement that they needed to make haste so they could make it back to Naruto and all they could do is pray he would be okay tomorrow when they returned. They were thinking that maybe the hokage had plans to keep him safe, so they focused on the mission at hand but both of them had a gut feeling that Naruto was not going to be safe.
