Chapter 4 - The Land Hidden in the Waves

Naruto opened his eyes at five-fifteen in the morning, his bright blue eyes blinking the morning sleepiness away, Naruto sighed because he woke up before his alarm that was set for five-thirty, he sat up and yawned and was happy that they were going on a mission because the event the other day was still fresh in his mind and he definitely wasnt ready to tell them anything from his younger days so he just sighed and then decided to just get up and stretch for the mission because there was no point in going back to sleep, especially for more nightmares, he stretched out his body and then made six shadow clones, he had five go make breakfast for the team and the last one went with Naruto to seal up different sets of equipment for different durations of missions for his future missions and the current one. All of the durations would have M.R.E meal's (made ready to eat meals), medical supplies, soldier pills (pills that allow you to fight for three days with no sleep), extra Hiraishin Kunai, sealing supplies, cooking supplies, different fuinjutsu scrolls for support, a four room tent for nine people, two normal bedrolls, one outdoor sleeping bag, extra change of clothing, rope, poison antidotes, and a personal notebook with a pen for documentation, each of these scrolls will have more supplies for longer missions. Naruto started splitting the supplies for different mission durations, the first scroll will be for missions between one day and one month, the second will be between one month and six months, then the next one after that will be between six months and one year, and the last one will be for missions between one year and five years. This guaranteed that for any mission he was going on, he would be undoubtedly ready for any mission and for some missions he would be overprepared for them but any mission could change and become harder so its always better to be prepared for the worst case scenarios.

Next on the list was Naruto himself, he started to change into his outfit which consisted of ninja boots, blue ninja pants with his two holsters on each thigh and both of his father's kunai in each holster, a mesh long sleeved black undershirt, a tight black sweater over the mesh shirt, one hiraishin kunai pouch strapped to the back of his pants, another hiraishin kunai pouch strapped to his left hip, his mother's sword strapped to his back and then his hitae-itae (ninja headband) secured on his forhead. The clone had helped with getting him completely dressed and then dispelled, as soon as the clone helping Naruto dispelled, the other clones dispelled as well, letting him know that breakfast was ready. Naruto walked downstairs and saw Kakashi coming out of his room as well, Kakashi looked at Naruto and was taken aback because Naruto really looked like Minato and he thought that most of the village must be stupid to not have seen the resemblance to their beloved fourth hokage, he would then sigh and look over at Naruto again and thought that he definitely looked well prepared and handsome in his outfit. They both greeted eachother goodmorning and then walked out of the house and over to the front gate to grab Sasuke and Sakura, Sasuke had brought a backpack full of supplies for survival and extra weapons, he was dressed in black ninja pants, ninja shoes, a kunai pouch on his thigh, a tight blue short sleeved shirt, and his hitae-itae (ninja headband) on his head, Sakura was wearing black shorts with a Chinese dress on that had the sides open, ninja shoes, and she brought a backpack that had very little equipment for survival, no weapons, and stuff that didnt make sense for an escort mission like a board game, extra revealing clothing, and a diary, Kakashi was dressed in a normal Jonin's attire, black ninja pants, black ninja shoes, a kunai pouch on the back of his pants, a mesh undershirt, with a long sleeved black shirt, a Jonin vest, (this helps signify your rank, genin have no vest, chuunin have a darker color vest from all villages, jonin get the lighter color vest from all villages, and anbu usually have black or grey vests on from each village) his hitae-itae was on his forhead but was slanted and covering his left eye, (his sharingan eye) Kakashi's personal items were a wakizashi strapped to his back, a face mask that covers his entire lower face from his nose down to his entire neck, and last was his scroll of equipment, this contained extra weapons, medical supplies, survival equipment, M.R.E meal's, sealing supplies, and a notebook with a pen for the mission report. Everyone greeted eachother and entered the house, Sasuke then asked Naruto and Kakashi if they could help him seal his supplies, Naruto and Kakashi told him of course but they would eat first, Naruto had made breakfast fit for the God's to eat, he had made biscuits and gravy, smoked ham, and omelets for everyone, they ate in silence and when they were all done Naruto made a clone to wash the dishes and then Kakashi waved Sasuke over next to him and Naruto, but before he started he told Sakura to come over as well. He knew that Sasuke was at level seven in fuinjutsu so he could learn, Sakura was at level ten and was at the limit of what she could learn so he would now teach them to seal items into a scroll. Naruto told the two that the art of sealing only included writing the Kanji for what you wanted to seal onto a scroll, he then showed them and gave them some help with keeping it organized in categories, Kakashi was giving the demonstration while Naruto explained it, the reason they explained keeping everything organized is so you don't have to search everything for what you need, just the category, this was extremely helpful for the two and after twenty minutes, they successfully sealed all of their supplies in their respective scrolls. Kakashi then told the team that it was time to go and get their client.
