Chapter 11 - The War with Orochimaru and Suna, "The New Yellow Flash"

Naruto was staring at Shukaku, who was pissed that he was teleported away from Konoha because he wanted to cause mayhem but he was confident that he could kill Naruto and then cause destruction later because he was now free and would be remaining that way, Naruto was strategizing in his head when he put up the hand sign for the shadow clone jutsu but he was concentrating hard on an even more enhanced Kurama clone that could manifest his tails, Shukaku sensed the mass of Chakra to late because a clone came into existence and then Naruto transferred Kurama to it, he then bit his thumb and summoned Gamabunta. Gamabunta appeared and saw that Shukaku was there, but he had Naruto on his head with a clone that had nine tails swaying behind it, he then asked Naruto, "Naruto-boy I can't face Shukaku, he's to strong for me," Naruto then smiled and spoke, "I only need you to hold his mouth closed Gamabunta-sama, Kurama will hold him steady and I will wake up his idiot Jinchurriki," Gamabunta nodded his head and then Naruto put his palm on Kurama's shoulder to teleport him to Shukaku, Kurama readied his tails to restrain Shukaku, he was then teleported and then wrapped all of his tails around Shukaku who gasped and then got angry, "you damn fox, ill kill you today," Kurama laughed at his brother and said, "only you would believe that you can defeat me tanuki." This made Shukaku even more pissed so he began making a tailed beast bomb but then Gamabunta was teleported right on top of him and was now holding his mouth closed, Naruto then teleported directly in front of Gaara but Shukaku sent sand to bind all of his limbs, both Kurama and Gamabunta were struggling but they weren't giving up, Naruto had no way to wake up Gaara so he decided to use his head literally and headbutted Gaara right in the face.

Meanwhile, Shikamaru and the Naruto clone were fighting with Temari and Kankuro, all of them were skilled but Naruto and Shikamaru held the edge, neither Kankuro or Temari were skilled at everything like Naruto and Shikamaru, Shikamaru then saw Temari run through handsigns for a jutsu he'd never seen, but he didn't want to find out so he sent out his shadow paralysis to stop her but one of Kankuro's puppets jumped into the way and that's when he heard the jutsu, "Wind style, birth of the hurricane," a gigantic tube of wind came out of the sky and hit the ground hard, destroying a part of the forest, Temari and Kankuro smirked but when the dust settled, the clone of Naruto and Shikamaru were no where to be seen so they went back to back so that they couldn't get caught unawares, then Temari saw Shikamaru and had to grab her brother Kankuro and jump out of the way because his shadow paralysis tendril almost caught them she then had to showcase her agility because Shikamaru's shadow tendril was stretching towards them again so Temari used her fan to create some wind pressure to push her and Kankuro out of the way and into a tree, that's when the Naruto clone flashed to a kunai that was in the tree and attempted to slash Temari but Kankuro had made a puppet in time to take the hit for his sister. Both shinobi were panting hard because this fight was intense, Shikamaru and Naruto together made a deadly combo and Temari knew that both were still holding back but before any more fighting could take place, they all saw Shukaku start to crumble so Temari and Kankuro started jumping through the trees to reach their little brother, Shikamaru and Naruto were running after them as well.

As soon as Naruto headbutted Gaara, he began to stir and Shukaku screamed, "Noooo, you damn fox and human, this was my moment, I swear to you that when I get out again, I'll kill you both." But then Kurama spoke before Shukaku could completely disappear, "Shu, that's enough, I know your angry for being Caged, but it's time to let go and try to help create a better world and future for us tailed beast, your my brother Shu, and I promise that I will be a better brother than I've been." Shukaku just stared at Kurama wide eyed, Gaara was waking but Shukaku just smiled because maybe Kurama was right, maybe.... Shukaku then vanished and Gaara began to fall but Naruto caught him and then landed on the ground and layed Gaara down. Gaara was shocked that he and Shukaku were defeated but he wasn't angry, Naruto then spoke, "Gaara, I'm sorry you've been alone all this time with no one to help you, I see myself in you alot, you were a path I could've stumbled upon, I want to change your future as well, we must be better than how we were treated." Gaara was stunned by Naruto's words, Naruto then continued, "I'll be the first to put my hand out to you and be your friend and family and I promise more people will do the same," Gaara was so shocked that a tear fell down his face, Naruto then held out his hand and Gaara grabbed it and then was pulled into a hug, Naruto knew that Gaara needed this, the red headed boy then began to cry. A few minutes passed and Naruto could sense the three shinobi and his clone closing in, Gaara sensed them as well, Naruto then spoke again, "Gaara, there are three things we need to do," Gaara nodded for Naruto to continue, Naruto saw this and spoke again right when the two siblings and Shikamaru arrived, "we need to fix the seal for Shukaku and then you need to befriend him because he was in as much of a cage as you were, then we need to put an end to this war and to do that, you will be announcing that you will be the fourth Kazekage." Everyone was shocked at what Naruto said, the siblings especially because they thought Naruto was trying to kill Gaara still, Shikamaru just smiled because Naruto was always helping people, Naruto believed in the good of people especially the ones that were wronged by society. Temari then voiced her concerns in trusting Naruto but Gaara spoke, "Temari, Kankuro, I'm sorry for everything, ....you both never gave up on me, ....thank you, Naruto helped knock some sense into my stupid head... so I don't believe he has any ill intentions for us .... so let's place our faith in him." Kankuro and Temari were shocked, Naruto had changed their brother, something they had been trying to do for years, he was able to do in a matter of hours and was now trying to help them as well, Shikamaru then chimed in, "how are we going to stop this war though?" Naruto was about to speak when he saw something from a dispelled clone that made him furious, his killing intent leaked from him, startling everyone, he then told everyone to hold onto him and he teleported back to the chuunin exams arena in Konoha and then saw Hiruzen holding where his left arm used to be, because Orochimaru had severed it with his poison blade, the Kusanagi, Naruto then spoke, "Gaara make your announcement and anyone who continues to fight, is an enemy to both villages, then I will deal with your seal after I finish with Orochimaru," Gaara nodded and then Naruto grabbed Kurama and they teleported inside the barrier but then Naruto and Kurama's eyes widened because the first and second hokage were fighting with Jiraiya, along with a blonde man with a cloak that says fourth on the back, the man turned and locked eyes with Naruto, Naruto then said, "dad..."
