Naruto Uzumaki-Namikaze, The Prodigy

Chapter 2 - 10 to 13 years old

(Description of Naruto: he is almost five feet tall, he has his hair done like his father's iconic style but it is a brighter blond, he has three whisker markers on each of his cheeks, two beautiful cerulean blue eyes and a giant smile like his mother Kushina, he also has a body type between Kakashi's and Minato's, so he is very fit with a six pack)

We continue our story with Naruto sitting in the back of class minding his own business because his classmates either don't like him or don't really know how to approach and talk to him, he portrays himself as being a silent and stupid boy that just ignores the world and everyone in it, the few people who were curious about him are a shy adorable girl named Hinata Hyuga, a detatched and intelligent boy named Shino Aburame, a smart and lazy boy named Shikamaru Nara, a blonde gossip queen named Ino Yamanaka, and a plump but big hearted boy named Choji Akimichi, these children all had their own thoughts of Naruto, Choji wanted to be his friend, Shikamaru wanted to understand him and be there for him, Shino was curious why he hid everything about himself, Hinata had a huge crush on the boy, and Ino was interested because at first she couldn't stand Naruto but that was because he constantly disregarded the schools sexiest student, Sasuke Uchiha and she wanted to be Sasuke's girlfriend but one day everything changed, her entire view of Naruto made a complete turn around, Naruto had saved her and her love rival Sakura from some bullies that were trying to beat them up and Naruto had jumped in front and fought them all off, ever since then, she was extremely curious about Naruto bt what really caught her attention about him was why he always looked so sad. The others in the class also had different reactions to Naruto, there was Sasuke Uchiha, who thought Naruto was just dumb and wouldn't be able to become a ninja, he did however wonder why the villagers treated him so poorly but chose not to pry to deeply because it didnt pertain to him, Sakura Haruno hated Naruto because her mother told her to hate him with a burning passion but from all of Sakura's interactions with Naruto, he seemed fine, a little dumb but fine in her book so she opted to just call him an idiot and leave him alone, the last of Naruto's classmates was Kiba Inuzuka, he always stayed away from Naruto because he had heard one day in the shopping district that Naruto was a monster so he always smiled because he knew that he could beat Naruto in everything because no one would ever help a monster get stronger, any other students in the class didn't matter because they were to weak to ever remember but they all thought that they were strongerthan Naruto, but the reality was that Naruto was stronger than all of them put togethe, next up were Naruto's senseis, there were two of them and they both just walked through the door, the first one was Iruka Umino and he was tall with a scar across his nose from left to right, his hair was done up in a pineapple style bun, next was Mizuki Touji, a man of average height, he had a strong build and shoulder length pearly white hair. Iruka greeted the class and glanced over at Nauto, he usually just ignored Naruto because he didnt want to get involved with him but today he was mostly just curious about the boy but he quickly shook the thought away but it remained, he didn't see Naruto as the Kyuubi but he still was wary of him so he decided to keep his distance from him and now that he was done thinking into it he sighed and continued with starting class, Mizuki however, hated Naruto and truly believed he was the nine-tails reincarnated as Naruto, so he would do everything to watch Naruto fail and find a way to get him killed, he would show him the wrong taijutsu foot placements, the worst way to hold a kunai and would purposely give Naruto harder test so he failed. Naruto knew all of this was happening but just continued to pretend to be ignorant because he had four brothers that would help him get stronger. After classes were over, Itachi, Shisui, and Kakashi came to get Naruto and Sasuke, Naruto had told Itachi and Shisui not to get involved with how Sasuke thought of Naruto, that he would handle it when they graduated so not to worry about it.

After class ended, we find everyone next to the entrance of the academy, Shikamaru had finally gained enough sleep and courage to finally talk with Naruto and he would finally be able to become friends with Naruto, atleast thats what he hoped would happen, Shikamaru would sigh and stroll on over and look at the three jonin with just a smile on his face, he then looked over at Naruto, Shikamaru quickly noticed that Naruto became a little scared and tensed up so he chose to shrug and say, "Hey Naruto, wanna come over to my place and play shogi, I'll teach you how to play as well?" Itachi, Shisui and Kakashi were surprised at first but then they were over the moon, they collectively thought that finally Naruto would have a friend his own age, Naruto on the other hand was skeptical at first but he knew Shikamaru was just curious about him so he decided to indulge Shikamaru's curiosity, he then looked over to his brother's and they all knodded to go, so he decided to say okay and they began walking to Shikamaru's home. When they arrived at the Nara household with Choji in the mix, Naruto knew they saw all the stares, hateful looks during their walk, and the names that he was called but they didn't say anything, Naruto was shocked but happy they didnt say anything so he didnt have to come up with any excuses for why the villagers treated him like that, Shikamaru then said something that shocked Naruto even more, he said that it was okay Naruto, we don't believe them and you can tell us when your ready, he smiled and so did Naruto, when they got in the house, Shukaku was setting up shogi to play with his son and then he saw Naruto and smiled, "welcome to our home Naruto, I wasn't expecting you but im happy to see you," he said this with a smile, Shukaku had been close with Minato so he would of course treat his son with kindness, Naruto would laugh and smile and eventually say, "thank you for having me over Shukaku-san," everyone laughed and Shikamaru then addressed his father, "dad, im going to teach Naruto how to play shogi," Naruto then interrupted Shikamaru and said, "I know how to play Shikamaru, I learned how to a long time ago and I play against your father quite often," Shukaku laughed at his son and now Shikamaru was excited to see Naruto's skills and also wanted to test Naruto on if he was a master of strategy or just simply good at it. Nine hours later, Naruto had not only beaten Shikamaru three times and lost once, he also had beaten Shukaku twice and lost once against him and now for their final game of the night, he was facing both the father and son duo together on the same team, Naruto was of course losing at first until he made a move that surprised the son and father duo which ultimately caused them to lose the game he had won by himself and bested arguably the two best strategist of the leaf village but now Shikamaru knew Naruto was not the dead-last of the academy and when they said there goodbyes, he began to research more on Naruto, he had pulled out notes, books, and records on Naruto that he had found over the years, Shukaku didn't even try to stop him, he knew his son would figure it out and would be very upset with the Village but he wanted Naruto to have a genuine friend and he wanted his son to become stronger and more motivated as a ninja and knew if he had a friend that was in pain, that would be the perfect motivation, especially if his friend was striving to be strong as well, so he left his son to research. Shikamaru had researched everything about Naruto for six and half hours and found out everything, Naruto was the son of Minato Namikaze and Kushina Uzumaki, that had to be a secret because Minato was the yondaime hokage and he had many enemies during and after the war, so in order to protect Naruto they couldnt tell anyone who his parents were, his research led him deeper into why the village hated Naruto, who was just a kid like himself, so when he came upon the information he was after, it lead to information on Naruto being the jailer of the kyuubi and that's why the villagers hated him which made him angry and very upset because Naruto wasn't the kyuubi, it was like saying that a kunai was the same as the holster it occupied which was just down right stupid, he also realized that Naruto was stronger than he let on and was definitely very smart, he would go as far as thinking he may be a genius but left that thought alone for now, he also found out that Naruto had been alone until he was six and was hurt alot and he deduced that he only really had Kakashi Hatake, Shisui Uchiha, and Itachi Uchiha in his life and he knew they had to be training him so he deduced that Naruto was faking his strength because of the civilian council, they wouldn't take kindly to him becoming stronger and would most likely say it was the kyuubi trying to mass power but then he grinned, he knew Naruto would show off on the final day of the academy, it was the only thing that made sense because then he would be a ninja under Konoha and the council could do nothing about it because all ninja of any village only answered to their Kage's and in this case, it would be our hokage and the hokage had all rights over his ninja, the council could do nothing when that happened so Shikamaru smirked because he knew that it would be satisfying to know that they lost to a child that outsmarted them.
