Prompt: Try me

Character: Jacob Black

(Y/n) stood next to Jacob and Bella as Carlisle talked to the other vampires.

The little girl that held her hand smiled at her.

"Nessie, I hope one day I can keep that promise to you."

"I know you will (Y/n)."

Alice walked over.

"(Y/n) can I talk to you and Jacob?"

(Y/n) nodded.

"Sure Alice. Come on Reneesme let's go see what Auntie Rose is doing."

Bella and Nessie walked away and Alice turned to them.

"I wanted to tell you something."

"Is everything okay Alice?" (Y/n) asked.

"Kind of." Alice smiled. "(Y/n) are you pregnant?"

"Can we keep that between the three of us?"

"If you go with us, the Volturi will take you away with me."

(Y/n) froze.

"I know it's not your first time dealing with them."

"No. I know what they can do but I made a promise to Bella and Reneesme."

"(Y/n), I'm not letting you risk it."

"I will keep her safe."

"Jacob..."

"No. (Y/n) is big on keeping her promises. So she can sit with Nessie on my back."

"Okay. I hope everything works."

(Y/n) stood next to Jake as they waited for the Volturi to show up.

"Jake maybe I should have stayed behind."

"No."

"But..."

"Here I can keep you both safe."

"Okay."

Edward walked over to speak to the leader and turned to them.

Bella nodded to Jake and (Y/n).

Emmett went with.

(Y/n) got on Jake's back and scratched behind his ear.

As they stood there, Aro looked at her.

"It seems this child isn't the only one."

(Y/n) growled.

"I wouldn't try anything Aro."

"Why not Carlisle. She was supposed to stay with us."

"Because the wolf she's sitting on is her imprint and the father."

"And you're making him mad."

"I'd like to see him keep us away."

Jake flicked his ear.

"He wants you to know he will tare you to shreads."

Aro tried to get closer to (Y/n) and Jake snapped his muzzle at him.

"That was rude. I want to know what he is thinking."

"He's thinking of doing anything to protect his wife and pup."

"Edward." Aro growled.

Edward smiled. "He said 'Try me.'"

Aro stood in shock as they walked back to the others.

(Y/n) pat Jake's head as Nessie climbed up.

"Thank you."
